Had no trouble connecting Bluetooth and the sound coming from this small speaker is pretty good. The motion lighting is just an added bonus that is pretty effective with the lights out listening to music drinking some wine

The lights may seem gimmicky but they are really cool to watch! Sound was much louder than I expected for such a small speaker. Battery life is about 5 hours with full lights and 10 hours with no lights.

I use this speaker in my massage therapy studio. It connects to the music device very simply, either through Bluetooth or plug. I can provide my client with a color choice for lighting. The lighting effect in a darkened room is very therapeutic. I have also taken this device from the studio and used at a dinner gathering for ambient music. The various lighting styles provide a nice conversation peace. The battery life has exceeded all dinner parties this far. I own both the Pulse and now the Charge! I'm glad I went back to add the Charge. It's been a very reliable purchase as well as effective.

Easy to use and has great sound. Many light functions or keep it off. Also works with the jbl app. Charges quick and lasts a while per charge.

I have both of the blue tooth speakers. For sound I would chose the bose ....for the light show plus a lesser sound quality I'd pick the jbl pulse. The jbl pulse is also lighter and easier to take on the go then the bose. Which is a bit heavier. Yes charge life is less with the light show, but the WOW FACTOR is awesome. Sound is not so deep and rich as the bose, but is what I'd expect is this price range.

Produces quality sound, it connects to phone via bluetooth w/o any problem, has good battery life and looks great too.

Not only does it sound wonderful, but it's easy to operate and the colored lights makes it fun for a party.

Good sound, easy to configure and battery lasts ~ 3hrs We use it on overnight trips on our boat and enjoy the lights and sound. A little pricey compared to other speakers.

Brought this JBL to use for work and at home and it has great lighting effects and great sound. The volume is amazing can hear it every room of my house and while at work.

I love my new radio! I use it with my iPhone with pandora and my own music! Usually use it by the pool and it's very loud for the size of it and at night I turn on the lights and everyone loves it!

This speaker was seamless setting up, very easy and smooth. I strongly recommend the App, gives you more options and flexibility. The lights are a lot of fun. This is not the speaker for sound enthusiasts, very little bass and a tad tinny. When you want to have some fun with lights and music, this is a great choice, so start the party.

This thing is great. Really good sound, just enough bass, and the light - and the combos of different lights - is always a conversation starter. Haven't had it long enough to really gauge its durability, but so far so good. And for the price, I think this is a much better value than the more expensive Bose portable speakers.

I love everything about the JBL Pulse speaker, except the fact that the battery life seems to be pretty short. I've had other speakers that I rarely have to charge and I usually have to charge this one a couple times a week when I only use it in increments of about 30 minutes a time. It's more than likely because of the extra power it requires to run the LED light display. Other than the battery issue, this speaker is great! The sound quality is wonderful and the lights are so fun, I just wish I didn't have to charge it all of the time!

This speaker was a great price and an excellent purchase! It connected very easily to multiple device via bluetooth and has great battery life. We use it around the house all the time but mostly outside on the patio. I would recommend this product to everyone!

Bought 2 of these for my sons for Christmas even though they had not asked for this. To my surprise, this was their favorite gift! The colors change while playing your music and the sound quality is great. My youngest son takes this speaker into the bathroom with him in the mornings to listen to music while getting ready for school. Very portable and a fun speaker.

We got this to replace a 20 year old boom box :) This speaker actually sounds better than expected, has provided a great light show during play, and the kids are having a blast with it. We got this originally for around the house, but look forward to taking it to the beach for some camping.

To be honest I purchased this speaker because the light themes that pulse with the music but I got surprised with the good quality of sound that it has. Is really easy to use with the bluetooth, I didn't have problems with my microsoft tablet neither with the ipod. I completely recommend the speaker if you are in love with the lights if not I will try to find a cheaper one with the same sound quality.
