    Weak, Hollow Sound

I just picked these up to replace my current pair of JBL Reflect BT wireless in-ears that I wear at the gym. I had high expectations for these, because of my experience with the previous(two generations ago?)model that sounds very good, but I was very disappointed once I listened to them. The previous version that I own does have some shortcomings in battery life and design, but they sound very good, with a nice "full" sound that isn't full of artificial bass like so many other headphones and in-ears out there today. I don't even use any EQ settings with them. But this new version has no life or body to the sound at all. It's like listening to a stereo system with only tweeters: no mids, no bass, no woofer. Even trying different EQ settings on my iPhone didn't help. In fact, I heard no discernible difference in any of the EQ settings with these new ones. Looking at the new design, the "in-ear" portion is much smaller than the old one(doesn't stick out of your ear nearly as far) and I think in order to achieve the smaller size they sacrificed the drivers. If these were a pair of cheap, plastic, wired ear-buds that came packaged with something for free, you could understand the sub-par sound quality, but for a $100 product, they should sound much better than the $10 ear-buds that they do sound like. Unfortunately, I will be returning these.

I purchased thses to replace by power beats 2. After recently purchasing jbl stereo headphones I decided to give reflects a try. The battery life and sound are way better than the powerbeats.

    Terrible Sound Quality

Purchased the headphones because I wanted something that will stay in my ear during intense workout. As I tried them on, the fit was great. The wings fit perfectly in my ear. The little contour piece was raised due to my small ears, however it stayed in place. The fit was spectacular until i turned on the headphones. The sound quality is disappointing! It's just flat. I turned the volume higher and it sounded like a regular stereo. The battery charged fast, bluetooth pairing was not bad, it did take sometime for my phone to find the device but the sound quality was why I returned.

    Died

Beyond disappointed. All the good reviews and when I buy it, it dies on my first workout. The ear phones are nothing but static and the buttons won't do anything. I'm going to let the battery drain and try charging it again, nothing happens when I charge it now (nothing lights up, the buttons don't work, won't connect to my phone and still static in the head phone). I'm on a boat for the next 3 weeks with busted headphones. Frustrating. Will return them as soon as I can.
