Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Reflect Wireless Earbud Headphones' sound quality, fit, comfort, and Bluetooth connectivity. Many also appreciate the lightweight design and find them to be a good value for the price. However, some users report that the battery life could be improved, and a few have experienced issues with the range and volume control. Overall, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the concerns about these other features.

    Wish they were better

I bought the earphones over the weekend and allowed it to get a full charge. I took them to the gym and was immediately impressed on how well the fit and the quality of sound. The earbuds fit perfect. The cord wasn't too long to be in the way. However, after about 20-30 min of cardio, the left earphone gave off a continuous static noise. Then the earphones automatically turned themselves off. After another half hour of messing with them, I gave up and called Bestbuy back to report the issue. They told me that "it's probably just a faulty set" and that I should take it back in. So the next day I returned them in exchange for the same earphones. I gave them a full charge overnight and was ready to use them the next day. After about an hour at the gym, the earphones started going up in volume on its own and kept giving off the annoying beeping you get when the volume maxes out. I gave them another full charge overnight and used them this morning for a 30-40 minute run. This time there were no issues. I think the problem is that when you sweat excessively on them, they start to freak out and do their own thing. I'm hoping this will be fixed because they are excellent for fit and sound, just not quality. If they act up again, I will be taking these back for a different brand, which will most likely happen.

I have tried 4 different Bluetooth Headphones and they are all the same. Very poor sound quality, not secure in my ears when active, cut out periodically. I give up!! I'll deal with wires

While I wanted to like these headphones, I find them to be very uncomfortable. And the cord from ear to ear is too short.

Returned these on day 14 to try a pair of Bluebud X's. The sound of these was great, and it set up very easily. After about a week it started behaving oddly, turning off mid workout (and I'm not some extreme athlete, we're talking a 45 minute workout tops), or if not turning off a constant beeping or the volume would drop but couldn't be raised, or I couldn't turn them off. I suspect the remote didnt get the same sealing that the earbuds did so the sweat got to em.

Sound is great but keep falling out. They have to sit far in to get adequate bass. If they wiggle out a little but still stay in place, the bass diminishes and the sound volume sounds like it gets weaker. Worst part is the range. Walk 5ft away from phone and it starts cutting out. Even with phone in pocket it gets a little shotty. I at least gave 2 stars only because they sound awesome when they do sit right.

I was in the market for a pair of wireless headphones, as a lot of guys around my office wear them, so I figured I'd give them a try. Did some research and was between these and two other pairs and I'm very glad I bought these. Great noise cancellation and they also have great sound. Wore them walking through a busy city and on the subway and heard absolutely nothing besides my music. I also have smaller ears and there was a ear-piece that fit me perfectly, which has been a problem for me with in-ear earphones in the past. Overall great product, great sound, great fit and a relatively good price. Will definitely be recommending these to friends in the future.

I have a very difficult time finding earbuds that will actually stay in my ears with the exception of the newer iPhone wired earbuds. I purchased these because JBL has always had a great reputation and the earbud looked as it if would have some extra "sticking" power. They fit great and my music sounds decent however not the sound quality I exptected from JBL. First I discovered that the range was very poor. I'd tried another brand of earbud prior to these that had great range and great sound; I could be in an part of my house and the music was clear but the earbuds wouldn't stay in my ears. The biggest problem I've discovered with these is that no one could hear me if I tried to have a phone conversation with these. I would have to yell for someone to hear me even a tiny bit. I inspected them to be sure the mic was not obstructed in any way and didn't see anything wrong. Maybe I got a bad pair...I'll be returning these and looking for an alternate option.

    Great Bluetooth Headphones for Running

    Posted .

I bought these headphones specifically for running. I was tired of my old headphone wires bouncing around and having to hold the extra cord in my hand while I ran. I went for my first run with these JBL BT headphones today and they worked perfectly! Fit was excellent (with small tips) and did not move at all during my run. They are also great sounding headphones and very comfortable. I thought there was going to be an issue with connectivity at first as I wear my iPod on a belt clip attached to my left hip. There was skipping during my run and significant loss of connection when I turned my head to the right. I realized the bluetooth sensor is on the right headphone, so I move the iPod to my right hip for the 2nd half of my run and experienced no skipping at all, even with turning my head fully in both directions. I haven't tried it with an armband so I don't know if there will be the same issues there, but if you are using a belt clip or keeping your mp3 player in your left pocket/left side, you may have the same connection issues I experienced. As long as you are willing to keep your music source on your right side, you should have no problems. The battery life is short at 5 hours, but since I am pretty much only going to use these for running and going to the gym, I will rarely need more than 5 hours of use.

    worst headphones ever!

First, let me state that i never review things online. Second, best buy has been great about making exchanges so thank you best buy for great customer service! However, avoid these headphones like the plague. the first pair i bought for my wife at Christmas. 5 months in to owning the headphones, the cover for the controller came off exposing the electronics to weather, etc. She exchanged them for a new pair and also purchased a pair for me. The first pair would not hold a charge and had a difficult time staying paired with my iphone 5s. I exchanged the defective pair less than 1 week after owning them. The second pair was completely screwed up. The down volume button was non-existent, the up volume button was in-operative, the power button was generally unresponsive and would take up to 20 minutes to finally power on. Even then it still had problems staying synced, even while in a running carrier on my waist or more than 3 feet away from the phone. I thought being JBL and paying $100 for them, they would be of some quality, but this is simply not true. The pair my wife exchanged also has the same power button issue as the 2nd pair i exchanged. i now own another brand. Despite paying slightly more, i am much happier. Save yourself the headache and multiple store visits and avoid buying these headphones!!!!

Great as earbuds, horrible for control

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The earbuds are sweat proof, and very sturdy design, but the completely lack the ability to control your phone. you can control volume up, volume down, you can power them on/off (>2.5 sec hold of button), play/pause whatever is already on your phone waiting to play (with a quick click), or you can skip to next track (double click). There is no way to backwards, and no way to initiate a call, or activate Siri. Most of these units allow at least siri integration by holding the main button down for 1 second, but these just stop/play. You can answer an incoming phone call, but if you want to change your music playlist, or make a call, you must physically perform the action on your phone/media player. This, apparently, is not uncommon, as this is my 3rd headset for working out, and they all behave like this. I don't understand why, when all the headsets I have owned in the past can do it all with three buttons, just as do Apple's wired ear buds.

    Issues

These sounded great when I could maintain connection. They were comfortable and sounded very good for the money. However, I had connection issues with them a lot while they still worked. They finally died from the operating switch evidently shorting out. One day the volume went high and i couldn't turn it down. Finally got them to shut off and restart (probably when dried out) so I tried them the next day. This time at the end of the workout they failed with the volume down button effectively stuck. Got them shutdown and they have never restarted since.

I bought these specifically for weight training. Very secure fit and great sound quality for Bluetooth. Good volume and nice bass level. Very comfortable. My only complaint, for a hundred bucks they should have some sort of carry case.

They're great sounding headphones. I use them often. Battery life is pretty good. Only thing I'm not super thrilled about is the way that they feel in my ear. They don't hurt but are unpleasant after a couple hours. I've never had them fall out though. All in all, I would buy again.

So these headphones are great and actually stay in my ears. Great sound for being wireless, and very easy to use. Only complaints are the mic isn't all that great when on a phone call, and the charge lasts about 4 hours total before needing to be recharged.

I'm a avid runner and this is the first pair of headphones that I actually enjoy working out with. The BT technology is great - really easy to pair and great connection to my iphone. Sweat doesn't bother them and fit incredibly in my ear. I don't have to stop every 5 minutes to readjust. Needless to say the sound quality from JBL is awesome especially at this pricepoint.

I bought these for use when running, working in he yard, and with my phone.I will be returning them however, because they consistently had breaks or pops in the sound. This occurred with any device I tried (Samsung S4, iPhone 5, iPod 4th gen) and they only solution was to keep completely still, (not what I bought them for). I had no issues pairing the head phones with any device. The earbuds fit fine and I generally like the overall look & feel of the JBL earbuds.
