Took it on a trip to Arizona and put it thru days of punishment in the side by side. Desert dust is no joke but this thing cleaned up perfectly.

Sound quality and volume is at the expense of battery life. At 75% volume the speaker will run on a full charge for a little under four hours.

Loud!

First, update the firmware via the JBL app. Second, this is exponentially louder than the Charge 3 & 4. The bass is great but what really caught my ear is the treble is quite a bit more pronounced or “brighter” than the previous iterations. Comparatively, the Charge 4 actually sounds flat when testing the two. I think it’s still a nice upgrade though.
