This speaker works great with everything except my windows pro tablet.

I was at a Bestbuy store and listened to the Flip 5. I was impressed by the bass quality and loud sound output. The price was reasonable to me. I thought the sound should be good at home. It was easy to pair to my cellphone. I used a music equalizer app called Poweramp which I think is one of the best for android phones. It makes the JBL Flip sound fantastic for a little speaker. I discovered you can if you want a different listening experience just flip the speaker over to the side that doesn't show the JBL logo. You can hear more high end sound with a nice mix of bass. I'm satisfied. I found a good buy. Thanks JBL.

Best sound haven’t put it to full max but it’s great

To be honest, we really love this speaker. My son dropped the speaker a couple of times, but the sound is still great and playing with water was really fun.

The sound on this was really good but I kept having issues with the Bluetooth connection getting really choppy, and it would happen pretty frequently. This could potentially be an issue with my phone (iPhone XS Max) so if you don't experience that issue, it's a really solid speaker for a decent price. I ended up returning and getting a Bose SoundLink and I still experience the issue a little bit but definitely not near as much.

JBL's speaker provides great sound with portability

Loud and noise come out nice but sometimes it seems to freeze or something and just won’t open for a while until I leave it and try to open it again.

I Love this Speaker! Incredible Sound! Easy to use!

I’m reviewing this product in July of 2022. I’ve had it a year and a half, and have had only a few minor issues.Somtimes it will randomly disconnect from my iPad, but otherwise it’s an absolute gem.I’d buy another one if I ever needed to, but I have no idea when that will be. I’ve taken this thing around the world, thrown it around, bounced it, dropped it, fell on it…whatever. A plus item, with great sound .

Bought for my bedroom. Great sound and easy to use

Excellent speaker that I'll use even more on the deck when spring comes

I absolutely love the sound this small speaker pushes. This is actually the second flip 5 I've purchased. After my first speaker was stolen, I tried "upgrading" to rhe JBL Extreme 2. I liked the bass it produced, but it seemed muddled and completely tanked when it came to kids and highs. The Flip 5 definitely out performs its larger, more expensive cousin when it comes to overall clear quality and impressive bass for such a small package. Cons: no built in mic for ios/ android assistant or speaker phone. No USB port to plug your phone into, and no aux in. Not backwards compatible with previous versions of JBL Party Play tech.

Great speaker but battery doesn't last. I have the clip3 and that's an excellent speaker and almost just as loud just less bassy
