Was not too sure what to expect. I have a very small backyard and it was perfect. I prefer less bass, but the JBL Flip5 was made with bass in mind, so keep that in mind. Over-all it is a great midsize portable speaker. I use it frequently during BBQ's, and when I shower. if you are contemplating on buying, I recommend to go for it. You will more than likely not be disappointed. Happy customer here.

I bought the JBL Flip 5 about a month ago. I play it for about 4-4.5 hours at a time while playing golf. The blue tooth connection to my phone was extremely simple. The sound quality is great and when I go to re-charge the JBL, it looks like I haven't even used 10% of the battery life. Time will tell, but so far I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Absolutely LOVE this speaker. Carries a great charge, the sound is loud and clear, the color is gorgeous and transports well. Its also very easy to connect to any bluetooth item seamlessly which makes it less of an annoying switch. I constantly switch from phone, laptop, peloton seamlessly. You can also link another speaker if someone else has the same speaker as you for even an even louder experience.

I bought the JPL5 to replace my JPL4 that I’ve had a few years when the battery finally gave out (which is normal wear when you use it almost everyday). The sound is incredible!!! I usually have it on for 4-5 hours at a time and the battery is still half full! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for great quality sound that you can take with you anywhere!!!

The product is great. Really serves the purpose. It is expensive in my opinion. If you really need it, it is worth buying it. Will recommend it to future buyers/users.

Huge sound out of such a small unit! Very durable! Battery life eventually diminishes after continually charging it. I use it at work and sometimes it's plugged in all day. At peak volume it will eventually die. Connectivity is smooth and easy betweeen multiple Android and Apple devices. 9/10 would recommend for anyone

Really like this bluetooth speaker. Easy to connect, great sound, and the battery really holds a charge for many hours. We have a good sized back yard and it can fill the space no problem. FYI -- The 5 series only pair with newer 5s with Party Boost. I had hoped to be able to pair it with my daughter's for stereo sound but hers is a 4 and has different tech.
