    Bad MacBook connection

    Good overall speaker except for when connecting to MacBook Pro it consistently loses signal and I have to repair it to get it work right. It works great with my phone but the main reason I bought it was to use with my Mac.

    Job flip 5 charging problems

    Bought it on August 18th and it’s September 7th. The charger is no longer charging the speaker. I tired resetting the device and cleaning the charging port and cable but this hasn’t resolved anything . I was going to try and take it back and exchange it but it’s past due it’s date. Can I please get some help. I really am enjoying the speaker but I will no longer be able to use it once the battery completely dissipates.

    Speaker wouldn't charge after only one use. Have to exchange it for one that hopefully operates correctly. JBL is typically has very good products so was very disappointed when this one didn't work.

    Great sound but needs more volume, the woofers on the ends are in an unprotected place that can be easily damaged especially by children.

    This speaker is compact and easy to use but is lacking on sound quality. My iPhone speaker has better distinction in highs and lows. It seems like this speaker just amplifies volume.

    For some reason, when I have it turned all the way up it’ll mess up and start making a static noise. I have to turn it off and turn it back on but other than that, it’s okay!

    Return the 1st one because its skips in & out of the sound for like the first 15min so i bought another 1 & same problem . never had a problem with other jbl products

    Has problems in party mode connecting, not sure if its the internet or the samsung its self. hoping its just the device not speakers which are brand knew.

    Came without a charging cable and a charger. Definetely not an excellent condition.

      Thanks for bringing this to our attention. we suggest returning the device to BestBuy as our JBL Flip 5 must include a Type C USB cable. Please note that there is no Charging adapter included in the package. You could use any USB power adapter with 5V and at least a 2A power output rating. JBL

    it has terrific sound however it doesn't have a 1/8" headphone jack. We've had problems connecting it to 2 different projectors which is part of the reason we bought it.

    This thing always disconnects randomly, and all of a sudden doesn't play any sound, it was problematic from the start but of course JBL wont help and just says to do a hard restart which does nothing

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you already performed a factory reset by doing this procedure, 'while the unit is ON, press Volume + and Phone (Play) button at the same time for 2-3 seconds until the unit turns off' and the issues still persists.     Loud and good bass. Full charge gets about 6 hours of use or so. I use it in my truck at work and it won't make it a full shift without dying.

    Bought it it didn’t work, returned it. Got another one, it quit working after 3 days. Best Buy was of no help.

    Junk, because of skipping issue

    This speaker is junk! Although the quality of music is fantastic, the device has issues with skipping and I wish I would have read deeper on it's issues. It is like having all you favorite music with a scratch on it, so it blanks out consistently. Super disappointed because my first generation JBL never did this and I gave it away to someone needing music. Now I am stuck with this junk. Read up on JBL speakers skipping before you buy. I did all the trouble shooting and still skips.

    The JBL flip 5 has great sound but I can’t get the thing to charge to save my life. I keep it plugged in while I play it and the battery still dies on it

    Had it for a month and then stopped working... GET INSURANCE .. these things suck! And it’s very common for them to stop working.
