These are the smaller of the 2 options for bookshelf speakers in the new JBL Stage 2 line up. I opted for them as I use them as rear surround speakers. They are up to the task for providing what they are asked to in my 5.1.2 set up. Sound is clear and adds great depth to a movie's surround sound.

Very happy with our two JBL Stage 2 240B bookshelf speakers. They are indeed compact, but emit a good sound.

I had been looking at speakers for quite a while before finding this set at bestbuy. The customer reviews and the price are what sold them, and I'm very satisfied with the sound quality.

For the price point these are surprisingly well rounded, are the high end audiophile quality, I wouldn’t say that, but if you are just starting out in the hobby they are a solid choice if you can get them on sale.

Nice smaller speakers. I bought these 240Bs to achieve a more immersive sound and to support my JBL 280Fs. I connected the 240Bs to a subwoofer and I now have a wall of sound. The 240Bs helped for that more immersive sound I was after. Great buy for me.

These paired with the matching center make a great experience for a home movie theater. Dialogue is clear and sound dispersion is great. Well a nice upgrade from KEF t301s

Very crisp audio quality and great sound for the size. They can take a lot more power than other speakers their size. They also look great and the grills attaching magnetically is so easy and convent.

great clarity and bass!!! when unwrapping them, my first impression was wow!!!! they have some weight and come with hanging mount kit.

I am a music producer with thousands of dollars invested in high end audio speakers (professional monitors mainly). But these JBL bookshelf speakers perform fantastically! I bought them to listen to vinyl records and to go with a small home stereo. I wasn't expecting much from the 4.5" woofers, but they sound quite amazing for the price. I mean, it's not a subwoofer sound, but these speakers are clear and can take some wattage. Again, I am very impressed.

Great product with economical pricing. I am enjoying the sound. Bought open box so it was missing screws to bolt the bracket to the speakers.
