These up firing speakers (can be wall mounted too) add that extra emersion to my Atmos system. Having the option to select the crossover if used as a height or up firing speaker is a nice touch to help dial them in for your system. Looks great on top of my JBL 260F front speakers. Since the 260F has internal wiring to connect the 240H you don't have that cluttered look of a cable routed on the outside of the front speaker. Nice touch JBL. I'm very happy with these.

I purchased these to add atmos capability to my existing 5.1 JBL speaker setup. Even when listening to stereo audio, the sound seems richer. I wish they came in true black finish instead of the very dark brown so they would match my other speakers looks better, but sound wise they do exactly what I wanted for a decent price.

Bought these to replace front surround speakers in tv room. The ines we had were very small and we wanted to play music sometimes in this room and could not really hear the sound very well, and the sound was not the best quality. These speakers sound fantastic! Much richer sound, and the surround sound is better when watching TV as well. They are fairly heavy speakers, so you need to make sure that you have mounts that can hold the weight if you plan to mount them on the wall. They have a switch on the back that lets you use them for Dolby Atmos vs surround. Well, it looks like they are designed primarily to sit flat on top of existing speakers as Dolby Atmos, they were great as surround speakers too, and can be mounted on the wall.

I set this JBL 245C center speaker up with the JBL Stage 2 250B bookshelf speakers and the JBL MA710 receiver and have been very happy. I wanted something affordable but that would also provide better sound and flexibility than a soundbar and this family of products fit the bill perfectly. I’m using the rear surrounds, sub and ceiling speaker (set as Atmos) that I already had and after calibration have been very pleased. I’m not an audiophile by any means but for my purposes this setup sounds great!

i like the sounds from these speakers fills my front stage well the only down part was when i opened the front speaker towers i got two different color speakers one expresso and one white both same models though all the rest are expresso except the odd ball white one not sure if i can exchange the white one lost reciept during my move but the speakers sound good id do a 5 star but the different color speaker knocks it down a star

Great upgread! Replaced a well dated set of "flat wall speakers" mafe by KEF and the JBL's (this center with the 2 smaller bookshelves) has completely changed our movie watching experience. Dialogue is clear, sound is fun and exiting without being fatigueing.

These speakers sound very good, which is the main point of speakers. Gives a nice Atmos height stage to my system, moving from a 5.1 to a 7.2.2. The only negative is the finish. There was either a choice of some kind of birchwood or a lame brown wood finish. I would prefer an option for just black, would match the speakers. They're on top of much better.

This is a well built center channel speaker, the 5-speaker plays sharp and clear sound. You can hear the dialog very clearly while the background sound is loud with heavy bass.

Great center channel speaker. Voice intelligibility is always good. Nevers sounds boomy or brash. Speaker is a bit large but so is the sound it presents in a surround system. Glad I opted to replace my previous center channel speaker with this one!!

This my third center speaker and it is the best I've heard it will be my forever center speaker, thank you JBL and Best Buy

Purchased this with a subwoofer and two floor speakers,couldn’t be happier

The speaker itself is a good product. However, I bought it "open box" and I was assured at the counter that it "had been checked" and was in "excellent condition". When I got it home, I found that the speaker was in excellent condition. However, the owners manual was missing as were the anti-skid pads that are needed to keep the speaker from buzzing when it sits on the shelf. So, now I have to go back to the store to resolve the issue.

It bumps surprisingly good with an amp that pushes 75 rms and the sound is good.

A really good purchase! The sound quality is excellent but the material the box is made of dents and scratches very easily so be careful with them.

The JBL theater system has a great sound. Was easy to install.

The quality of sound is amazing. It's crisp and clear and sounds just like in the cinemas.
