This was the only "not great" experience I have had with JBL products. Seemed like the sound was blown out at anything above half volume. Maybe just a bad set. JBL never usually lets me down

Thank you for your feedback! We're here to help with your JBL Tune 235NC. To ensure the headphones provide the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. Please try the following steps in order:

Angle the eartip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal.

Gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear.

Continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal to achieve the best seal and secure fit.

It is best to try this with all of the provided eartip sizes until you find the one that fits most comfortably.

Once you've done this a few times, it will become easy to do every time you put them in your ear. If this does not resolve the issue, our JBL Tune 235NC are compatible with our JBL Headphones app, which allows you to modify the equalizer settings to your preference. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer support. JBL

I thought spending extra on earbuds would pay off. I expected for the price to get a decent quality. Sound quality is okay but not great. My $15 Sony wired have a richer sound. Also no dedicated volume control button. Volume is only controlled with the device. This is astonishing considering that the whole point is to be independent from the device.
