The JBL Tune Buds sound great when they are fully seated in your ears — and that’s only about the first 30 seconds because the fit is awful… like someone shoved a hockey puck in my ear. I called JBL product support to see if they might have additional ear tips available to improve the fit. They don’t. The support rep suggested I return them but I was past the 14 day return period. I knew the fit might be an issue but chose them because someone claiming to be a mastering engineer left a glowing review. The sound is clean and punchy, very dynamic, not flat and lifeless. I can hear musical details I’ve not heard with any other earbuds. But without a good fit it’s difficult to get the bass sounding balanced. The good: battery life, case is compact, sound quality vs. cost, app, noise canceling, ambient sound pass through, and call quality. Of particular note is the ability to play a tone to help locate a lost earbud. I used this after dropping an earbud in an airplane. The passenger in the seat behind me heard it and found my earbud. This feature alone is brilliant. The app is also well done and useful to dial in the sound and features. Connection is nearly instantaneous and it’s good for a very long distance (porch to garage, about 60’ through 5 walls). The only downside is the fit, and unfortunately it’s a Very Big Deal.

Thanks for your feedback. Please know that it's possible that the battery of your JBL Tune Buds is losing its capacity. Volume and usage can affect the battery's life. In addition, please know that battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime. Please contact us for further assistance. JBL

THE GOOD: Super good bass and audio quality. Very good app and Bluetooth capabilities. THE BAD: They have a harder time staying in, especially if eating or talking. During phone calls, people complain about the mic and hearing me.

JBL earbuds impress with their ease of use, quick Bluetooth pairing, and intuitive touch controls, customizable via the JBL Headphones app. They fit all ears comfortably, thanks to multiple ear tip sizes and an ergonomic design that stays secure during any activity. Sound quality is excellent, with punchy bass, clear mids, and crisp highs, plus a customizable EQ for tweaking to your taste. Battery life is stellar—up to 10 hours per charge with ANC on, and the case adds another 30 hours, with fast charging giving 4 hours from a 15-minute boost. The ANC effectively reduces ambient noise, while Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes let you hear your surroundings naturally when needed. Overall, JBL delivers a reliable, high-performing package that’s perfect for daily use, with only slightly underwhelming ANC in very noisy settings as a minor drawback.

The JBL Tune Buds are a great addition to my wireless earbuds collection. They have great sound (EQ available in the JBL app), excellent battery life, and surprisingly strong noise cancelling. These earbuds do it all! My only complain is the volume, or lack there of. Don't get me wrong, these do get decently loud, but I have found myself wishing I had 3-5 clicks of volume available for noisier environments. Additionally, the more bass-heavy your tuning, the less overall volume you will be getting. Overall, I think the JBL Tune Buds are a great choice for people who want to enjoy good sound with strong noise cancelling. However, if you plan to use these in louder environments, I would point you to a different pair of earbuds (Suggestion: Soundcore p30i) because of the lower volume on the Tune Buds.

These are good ear buds. The battery lasts a long time, call/audio quality is very good, charging is fast. Some cons are having these in the ear for a long time irritates the inside of my ear(just the nature of having things shoved in your ear, I guess) and if moving around, they sometimes feel like they want to fall out. If you're mowing the lawn for example. Overall these are good ear buds.

These headphones were great whils they lasted - DO NOT forget that their in your pants pocket and let them slip into the wash; they will not survive. Anyway, the audio quality was amazing when they were positioned properly in my ears, but I had a hard time getting them to stay in, especially while eating, even when using different sized buds. The battery life was exceptional. These saw light to moderate use and I rarely had to charge them due to how much "juice" the case held. The touch feature used to switch between Ambient-Aware and Noise Cancelling was very nice, but I think a little too sensitive. Perhaps 2 taps should be used to swap between modes. Due to how often I had to readjust the left earbud, I would often unintentionally switch between modes, which was slightly annoying, but not a major issue. I would recommend these to a friend, but i will jot be purchasing another pair due to the difficulty I had getting them to stay in my ears.

These ear buds are great! The noise cancelling on them works a little too well. These ear buds produce high quality sounds and deep bass when changed to the proper setting. Long lasting battery life, I don't need to charge the case frequently. For what you pay for these you're getting a great deal in comparison to others who have a shorter battery life or break easily, I have had mine for almost 2 years and they still work just as good as the day I opened them

This is my second pair of these. The first pair works great, but was for work. I liked them so much I bought another pair for home as well. For me, these are a solid alternative to AirPods or AirPod pros. With AirPods, the battery only lasted a couple of hours, which does not help when you have many conference calls during the day. These JBL tunebuds have never dies during the day while on calls, and have exceptional battery life. The noise canceling is as good as AirPod Pros, and they wear better regarding the material on the ear piece. I would buy another pair of these in an instant if the need arises.

Good audio quality. Nice deep bass. But, the noise cancellation is not that good. Also the talk through mode does not let enough outside sound through, so it's not that useful when talking to someone with headphones on. The battery life is very good, and it matches the advertised numbers. With apple, it doesn't automatically switch to the bluetooth when taking a call, and needs to be manually selected. The in call audio is very clear and the other party has no issues in getting a crystal clear conversation.

These sound great and battery life is very good. Took 1 star away because it takes few tries to make them fit my ears and get the full sound. Once properly positioned, they sound awesome, and I like the fact that the iPhone app has an equalizer so I can decide what they should sound like, not Apple. (This is NOT a sounds great for the price review, they really do sound great.)

These have good ex adjustment and sound great when it comes to the mids and highs. Sound suppression is great and they feel comfortable if your ears. Not too heavy and not too light. For the same price retail, you coule find some sony earbuds with much higher quality so it's hard to say that I'd feel comfortable spending the retail amount for them, but give them a try. And there's almost always a valid refund policy, which is for you as a consumer! Battery life is good as long as you don't have them blasting and they charged relatively fast.

As many reviews already mention, they fall out of my ears easily. I ran and walked a 10k with them in and they didn't completely fall out until I crossed the finish line, but I had to replace them at least a dozen times during the race. Other than that, the sound quality is great. The noise cancelling isn't as good as I expected but these are the first earbuds I've had with that feature so I'm assuming there's just a big difference between earbuds and the over-the-ear kind I have had before.

According to my family, their calls to me have never been clearer. They endorse these earbuds 100% based on how well they can hear me when they call, and how the ear buds manage background noise. They said that my previous earbuds sounded like I was talking underwater or that my voice was over shadowed by the birds in the background on my walk. Personally, I'd add that they have great sound quality for music, an easily accessible app, are durable and hold a charge longer than any buds Ive had before. Good job!

great bass. Like the overall sound quality and the app that comes along with these earbuds. The only thing I don't like is the lack of volume control on the earbuds themselves caused a 4 instead of a 5 star. The noise quieting works well.
