Not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these to wear at the gym. First, they have to be the most uncomfortable earbuds ever. Second, I tried all different combinations of fittings, and nothing worked. They kept falling out of my ears. Last, I had them for 2 months, and now, they will not charge. Waste of money!

Great Sound with Minor Issues
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very surprised at how good these headphones sounded. Typically, with earbuds, the sound is thin or tinny. The twist-lock technology not only helps to keep the buds in-ear more securely than I had expected, but they help to trap sound and create better tone. Granted, the sound still lacks depth that audiophiles would want, but considering these are workout headphones, you can't ask for much more. That stated, the only issue that I have with these headphones should affect those that use them for their works regularly: there is a delay between sound delivery and video on some devices. It seems that the sound is almost always behind sync with the video content I've viewed. However, as stated, this shouldn't matter if you're only using these for audio during workouts. Further to the workout functionality, I like the clip added to the wire which provides a means to tether it to the collar of your shirt to prevent it from jumping around while you are running on the treadmill. One downside of this is if your shirt sags when it gets sweater, in which case, this tether becomes an anchor. In all, the audio quality delivered is good enough to overlook the two minor issues I raised.

Wow!! Sweet Earbuds!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried sport wireless earbuds before, but could never find a pair with right size ear pieces. These earbuds comes with several different sizes for everyone's specific need. Sound quality is great and loud enough for me. I've gone on walks and runs and no sound quality issues. These earbuds also hold a good battery charge.

Get Fit Ear Plugs
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for some headphones that deliver while you exercise these are great. Don't worry about pulling a wire and loosing a plug these are wireless ready to handle the sweat. If you are looking for that BASS you are not going to get it with these, but if bass is not a requirement for you these will be great not bulky at all. Pros: Small, good fit, wireless, sweat proof Cons: No bass

Great Quality in Performance and Sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A rarity for wireless earbuds to have a built-in microphone. Under Armor JBL Wireless Earbuds upped it a notch. Its in-line three-button remote, offering play/pause, volume, call answer/reject, and skip-track, The buttons are larger and placed for easy reach. So far, I've used the earbuds 5 times when answering my phone. The callers heard me loud and clear. These earbuds come with several sets of TwistLock eartips to aid in comfort and security; with these earphones, the buds should never slip out of your ears until you choose to dislodge them, which has been my experience. The default size was a 7, but I easily changed the TwistLock cushion to a size 4. WHAT'S IN THE BOX: Earbuds, a zippered case, five sets of fit adapters, three sets of eartips, a micro-USB charging cable. There is also an app to map your fitness program. There is a charge for this premium app once the trial period is over. I'm good for about 10 feet from my phone. Clarity couldn't be better. Beautiful sound, a solid earbud design and the type of company that doesn't skimp on quality or performance.

Fantastic Bluetooth In-Ears
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connectivity: The Bluetooth pairing is quick and easy. Nothing too crazy and it's seriously not hard to pair with any device. The distance is a little weak about 12 feet and it started to act up on me. I'm not sure if it was just my phone, but it's just something to keep in mind. For the most part, I think your Bluetooth device will always be close to you anyways so it shouldn't be a big issue. Design and Functionality: The look and feel of these in-ears are amazing. The design looks slick and I love the red and black get up which fits most of my gear. Whenever I wear them, I have no fear that they will fall out of my ears. I was working on my car earlier wearing them and not once did it fall out or made me readjust them to make sure they don't fall. Sound Quality: The sound quality is okay. I had to readjust the EQ in my phone in order to bring out more bass as these in-ears seem to not have a lot of them. Needless to say, the sound isn't bad at all, it's just not the very best and this is actually a huge factor as to why I gave it 4 stars and I recommend you try other in-ears first and see if you prefer that sound instead of the JBL ones. I consider myself an audiophile and I can live with the sound it produces. These in-ears are not noise-cancelling, by the way. If you want something that drains out all of the outside noise, make sure you keep this in mind. Overall, these in-ears are fantastic, but the drawbacks plus the high price makes it fall short into me actually telling you to go ahead and buy this right now. I will recommend that you hear the sound quality first if it fits your preferences then buy them.

A No Brainer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This UnderArmour Wireless Sport Headset is not only an excellent choice for the fitness junkie but for anyone who wants great hands-free earbud audio performance without having to fidget with earbuds that keep falling out of place. The unit’s design and packaging are very aesthetically pleasing: modern, upscale and a fashionable match for the UnderArmour Brand. But, in light of the fact that we are facing the 6th Extinction because of human inability to manage toxic waste, I’d like to see more earth friendly packaging and an indication that all materials are recyclable. I don’t like that the consumer is asked to retain all packaging in the event of a need to return. I really would only like to retain the barcode and proof of purchase since, over time, storage of packaging materials sucks up precious home storage. Less expensive packaging would also reduce the cost of the unit to the consumer, even those who don’t care if we burn up the planet may appreciate that design outcome. For convenience, a nice touch is the round, zippered carry case with the UA Logo to carry the earbuds and the charging cord. So, no more tangled dangling wires to manage. Five different earbud tips, from small to large, afford a range to suit any sized ear. The earbuds have a buffer that acts as a sound isolation or enhancement feature. As well, the buffer keeps the earbud solidly in place. The cord connecting the audio earbuds is shorter than experienced with other units; but, a good exchange for the shorter cord is a clip that can be connected to your clothes; so, when the set is not plugged into your ears, it won’t slip off and get lost, a very smart idea. Many times I have had an emotional meltdown when I’d reach for the headset at my neck and found it had slipped off in the car or elsewhere. BTW, no plug for standard electric outlets is included. You can only charge via USB port unless you have a plug from another device; but, bear in mind, I am not certain if there are any compatibility issues with that solution. The Warranty and Instructions are printed in a near illegible font size. Not consumer friendly. But, since I have owned wireless headsets before, connecting to blue tooth with this headset was a snap. Seniors will need a magnifying glass to read their manual and related documents. The FCC + IC statement reveal that the unit ‘may accept interference’ …even ‘undesired interference’ which, I surmise, means that the potential for surveillance of one’s communication is high. And, in this day of Hemisphere, the consumer must heed that message seriously. Also, though the unit is promoted to be used by sports people, the Warranty states “for home use only”. That language may mean that exposure to inclement weather, sweat, other outdoor or gym activities with their potential impacts may void the Warranty. Though there was information that the unit met standards regarding the impact of EMF’s (electro-magnetic fields) on the human body, especially the brain. I would like a link to the research, especially since data on blood type genetics indicates that each person has a different tolerance for environmental bio-field interferences. Would be nice also if JBL and UnderArmour in collaboration with Harman Manufacturing could create some sort of community re-investment in the indigenous people and their territories where component materials are sourced. The sacrifice of their lives and lands to industrial mines affords the ‘developed’ world’s consumers luxurious tech at an externalized cost for which there needs to be fair exchange or really an entirely new solution. . Another nice perk is the FREE TRIAL Membership to UnderArmour’s www.mapmyrun.com to monitor your fitness program.

Get Lost in the Music
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Headphones are not something I use a lot, but I just might start with these JBLs. My initial impression, upon receiving them, was that they were good quality headphones. They were packaged very nicely and I really appreciated all the different earbud sizes that came in the box. That really made for a nice, custom-type fit. The sound quality was good, though not as rich as with another pair I have. They were definitely loud enough for my ears. I paired these with an Android and an Apple device and it paired to both very easily. The bluetooth range was pretty good; I was able to walk about 45 feet away from my device before it started losing connection. Overall, these are a pretty decent pair of headphones.

Where's the ARMOUR on these Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Very lightweight - Clip in center of headphones to clip onto clothes while exercising - Great to use if you're running - Includes different sizes of ear buds for your ears - Enjoyed the silicone material included carrying case. Case fits the headphones and he charger - Pairing process is seamless - Easy to use Cons: - When using the smaller ear buds for a smaller ear size, the plaster rubs against the wall of your ear. Pain starts to build. - Sound quality is just decent compared to other similar products of this price range. Sound seems a bit muffled. - Poor noise cancellation. Music at a pretty moderate level equals to me still being able to hear things around me - No AC adapter for charging. Makes it a bit inconvenient for charging if you don't have a USB port available Conclusion: I would say, it may be best to shop around. I have tested out some Sonys and I have to say they're pretty amazing compared to these. I enjoy the brand of JBL and Under Armour but it seemed to fall short a bit on quality and comfort ability. I like the fact that it's water/sweat resistant but a lot of exercising headphones nowadays have that as a norm. Nothing really blew me out of the water with these. As I mentioned, they are just average. Perhaps the next ones will be a winner?

OK but not hassle-free
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After considerable frustration getting the earphones ready to use, it turned out to be an OK product. It has potential to be great, but it’s its own worst enemy when it comes to use. 1. You get several sizes of enhancers for proper fit in your ear; however, it is quite a chore to change enhancers to find the correct size. Because they fit so tightly over the earpiece (a positive), putting on new ones takes a lot of time (negative). Plus, you need to be very careful in doing so in order not to tear the thin material. 2. Pairing the Bluetooth is fairly simple, though it took several attempts to keep it paired. 3. Controlling the functions (volume, forward, reverse, etc.) is difficult and is my biggest issue. Because of the compact design and the rear-hanging strap, the tiny controller is located essentially behind you. So, when wearing the headphones, you cannot see the controller unless you are standing in front of a mirror…which you are not likely to be doing when out and about. So, unless you have extremely tiny fingers and the ability to see back and below your right ear, it’s a problem. If you want to volume up/down, you must be very careful or you'll be jumping forward/backward, because the tiny keys for each are the same. 4. I paired the earphones to my iPod, and audio-wise, it doesn’t beat the iPod earbuds, but it is good and is wireless. If you don’t mind the hassle, these earphones will probably be fine for you; but, if you want to be hassle-free, shop around.

Good pair of sport earphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are pretty good for workouts but the sound quality is ok though. I have other pair of wireless earphones and these do last 4 hours longer than the other pair I have. They stay in your ears with those special tips that they have. Sound quality though is only ok though. They don't sound bad but they don't sound the greatest though. If you just want wireless earbuds to last a long time and sound quality isn't that important than these will do the job fine.

Gives my Powerbeats2 heavy competition
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a pair of Powerbeats2 Wireless Earbud Headphones back in September. I was so excited to cut the cord and get wireless headphones. When I agreed to review the JBL Under Armour Sport Wireless In-Ear Headphones I was eager to see how they measured up against the competition. Here is what I found: JBL - the product came with 3 ear tips (small, medium and large) as well as 5 enhancers of different sizes. This is great because the comfort of your earbuds depends on the correct fit. When I first wore the headphones out of the box, they were very uncomfortable because the enhancer was too large (pre-installed with size 7). I changed out both the enhancer and ear tip and found my perfect fit. The enhancer is critical as it is what "locks" the earbuds in your ear so they don't fall out when you exercise. It also helps to "block out" some of the background noise while you listen to music which is not to say that these are note noise canceling. (There is a phone number for a Fit Specialist and a web address for online help) The Powerbeats2 has the earhooks which I found to be the more comfortable of the two, but not a deal closer. JBL- as for the set-up, pairing it was a breeze. The headphones were charged up right out of the box so I was able to use them immediately. I like the sport clip that allows me to clip it to my shirt or jacket, thus providing additional security by preventing the headphones from falling off when exercising or when I take the headphones out of my ears and they are hanging around my neck. The Powerbeats2 lacks the clip but has a sizer on it letting you shorten the cord. It, too, was very easy to pair and start using. JBL - when you power on/off the headphones, you hear a voice that says if it is on or off and acknowledges if your device if connected. The Powerbeats2 uses a tone that you have to remember which is on and off (I can't seem to remember which is which) and does not let you know if your device is connected. JBL - The LED shares many of the same functions as the Powerbeats2 (volume control, pause, phone control, on/off light). In addition, it offers music control which lets you forward to the next song or repeat/go back to the previous song (press up/down for 1.5 sec). I LOVE that!! You also get repeated verbal reminders when the battery is low. It reminds me of my microwave that beeps when I don't remove food after it has finished cooking. BTW, the battery at full charge lasts 8 hours. I looked around but couldn't get a number on how many hours the Powerbeats2 battery lasts. JBL - The headphones recharge with a USB cable that comes in the box and plugs into the charging port by the volume control. The LED is red when it is charging and blinks when the battery is low. You can't see the LED lights to figure out what the status is when you are wearing the headphones, but that is why you get the audio cues. You don't need to see it. JBL - the headphones come in a case that is smaller than the Powerbeats2. The fabric is something that impressed my son, but I am not familiar with its attributes. It would be great in someone's back pocket as it is flexible and bendable. The Powerbeats2 case was more durable and would hold up better at the bottom of a purse or briefcase. JBL - I don't profess to be an audiophile, but I enjoy listening to music. I can tell good quality from poor quality, but that is about it. I thought the sound from these headphones were great. I was hearing some bass on songs that wasn't coming through the Powerbeats2. I am sure I kept you in suspense this entire time wondering what I decided between the JBL vs Powerbeats2 face-off. Suffice to say that I gave the Powerbeats2 to my husband and I kept these for me.
