I also don’t like that you will always hear a voice say “ ambient mode turned on / off “ whenever you switch between modes

I'm a runner, and I find that I always have to keep adjusting these into place during runs. The worst part though is the earbuds don't click into place into the charger. So several times, I thought the earbuds were charging but they weren't exactly into place, so I couldn't actually use them for a run. Also, why is the default listening mode on the earbud's app setting, Jazz? If you're a runner, I'd pass on these earbuds.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback. When charging your JBL Vibe Beam, please make sure that you will hear a click sound when you close the charging case. It is also possible that there are foreign matters on the pins. Please try cleaning the earbuds and the pins inside the case with cotton swab and alcohol. And to achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, try other eartip sizes, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. Then, you may enable Audio Mode under Smart Audio &Video settings on our JBL Headphones App for a better performance and to customize EQ settings. For further assistance, please contact us.
