Cons: - too difficult to switch ON even if the battery is fully charged. - when connecting to a new device, it automatically turns OFF. - expensive Buy at your own risk!

Although placement is very important, some areas of my home will carry the bass more than others. I use my Flip 5 more than this guy mostly because of how compact it is, but the Xtreme2 gives me a little more when I need it.

I had already had a JBL Charge 4, and the Xtreme did not go louder than that. It’s a good speaker, just not worth $300. It’s worth $200

I'm use to listening to High Fidelity. I'm a little bit hard of hearing so I put speaker beside me while watching TV and don't have to blast the TV Volume.

Posted .Hi there, thanks for your review. Our JBL Xtreme 2 is rated to give up to 15-hours of playtime depending on volume level, type of music content you are playing and the method of connection (Bluetooth or Wired).
Battery life would really depend on how the speaker is used. As stated above, music content (i.e. Rap, R&B, Rock, etc.) and volume level would certainly play a major role in the playtime of the speaker. If the speaker is at 80-90% volume playing audio with a lot of BASS, battery play time would be shortened compared to the speaker playing mellow/slow music at 40-50% volume.
