this is of exceptional quality and sound. I purchase the first one 3 years ago and it sounds great even after plenty of drops and trips to the beach getting wet. this one I actually bought as a birthday present for my Mother since I enjoyed mine so much.

Hey muchachos! We do need no stinking Siri or Alexa! If I want to turn on the light I don’t need no home automation I just go to the switch and flip it. This speaker is all about the sound and making things simple. If you want sound in your face that’s portable this is it! I love it! An alternative to getting the JBL boombox is to get (2) Xtreme 2’s and pair them together it’s a little less expensive but easier to transport

The best speaker forever the best sound the best battery and the best size

This by far was one of my best buys. Such a powerful sound coming from a small speaker. The size is perfect to carry around when cooking out and when playing loteria. Love Love Love

Excellent speaker. I use a Bose speaker but where I work, the surrounding noise overpowered the Bose. It is relegated for home use now. The JBL now, that is a great speaker for the open area where I work. It gets loud, stays clear and not muddled up. Plus I like the fact that I can pair it up with several other JBL speaker so they all play the same song at the same time. I'm about ready to go out and get another one.

This speaker is great. I use it mainly at work and it's awesome. I'm a cook, so the kitchen can get pretty loud. Even with all the noise of a kitchen, this speaker is easily heard over everything at half volume, while not plugged in. The sound is clear and the bass is awesome. If I use it all shift the battery will last me almost two full work days (about 10-14 hours a day). Great speaker and well worth it.

I use it everywhere from home to on the boat, music is very clear and bass is heard and felt from low end to high end, especially when plugged in. Carry this puppy around everywhere, bottle opener on the strap comes in handy as well. Phone calls are also very clear and the microphone on the speaker is not bad at all. I love my extreme2!

I take it with me to the Basketball Court when we play Hoop Sound has full range from hip hop to Tool hard rock Battery last at least 6 hours on full blast might be longer but we only stay about 5-6 hours on the courts Definitely told my friend to get one then we can link up both speakers!
