Speaker is loud, portable and waterproof! Would recommend to anyone looking for those things!

Purchased as a gift for a nephew who said he's enjoying how loud it gets, its bass response, and its long battery life. Not a great deal at MSRP but when on sale + reward certificates, it's a good deal. Minor gripe is the barrel connector for the charger unlike the current models that use USB-C.

Build quality = great Design = good Sound quality = good Cost = good Design comment: It have been better if it came with built in handle to carry it instead of just the strap it came with. Sound Quality Comment: Sound is evenly distributed between hi, mid, n low range. Bass is good but not great. Volume is good but gets a little kinda 'eh' at max volume. Price comment: Yeah, it is a good buy for its cost

As someone who came of age in the 90’s, having a portable, powerful sound system that looked as cool as the music videos was always a dream. This speaker has made it a reality. Easy to connect, nearly indistructible, great, powerful sound all in a fashionable casing. It’s been a great asset for pool parties, living room jam sessions and impromptu park visits. Very versatile and I highly recommend.

Great balanced sound with any volume range I love the quality and not overly priced for the product and the sound experience It has a strap to make it easy to carry anywhere

As a DJ for 25 years most small speakers don’t impress me. This JBL Xtreme 2 is simply impressive. The base it gives off compared the Lower models like the charge 2 and the flip 5, if you where considering them is second to none. It is bigger and less compact, but if your looking for crystal clear sound and great bass this speaker is fir you.

Well engineered portable Bluetooth loudspeaker! A very balanced active speaker without harsh highs or noise in the bottom end. Nice upgrade from my JBL Charge 5!

Third JBL speaker, it is loud, tough and well made, and not afraid of water!!!

This speaker has survived many river trips! And last for HOURS

We got this speaker for the pool area..it isn't loud enough for that. Our pool pump is louder..but if you have it inside it sounds awesome. My husband uses it at his job site and he says its good for that too. I like the strap on it..its good to carry around or hang in a tree..while listening to music. Overall I would recommend it just not for a pool area outside with the pump running..I will say our pool is 30×50.. so we do have a huge pump.

Had another brand before this quality was OK I don't know what a Bose speaker could possibly have that this one doesn't battery life is long sound is perfect and my wife absolutely loves it like it so much about another one for my shop

We were looking for bluetooth speakers to replace our old Bose. It has the depth of sound that we were looking for.

I bought this for my eldest daughter’s birthday to use in her bedroom and easily carry it if she needs to. The sound is amazing. Lots of base!

I love the quality sound, how it pairs with other JBL speakers flawlessly and how it automatically pairs with my phone and tablet as soon as I turn it on. I am definitely a JBL fan now, in fact I plan on buying another Xtreme 2 speaker to put outside for when I’m working in the garden. That way if I come in to eat or get a drink I won’t miss any of my podcasts or music.

This speaker sounds great, it has excellent bass output for its size. It is portable and lightweight, and just the right size for your backyard parties. I was lucky enough to catch it on sale so it was very affordable and worth the money.

Works amazing and sounds even better. I leave it playing by the pool and theres no worries with the water or the sound. 10/10! JBL has done it again!!

This speaker is great! It comes with a carrying strap and is very durable and waterproof. I took it to tge beach with me and got sand all over it. It was very hard to clean. So i just threw it in the tub and ran it under water for a few seconds. Looked like i took it right out of the box.
