    Great speaker, expected a little more bass. Although placement is very important, some areas of my home will carry the bass more than others. I use my Flip 5 more than this guy mostly because of how compact it is, but the Xtreme2 gives me a little more when I need it.

    When I first saw it, i thought it looked good. I had already had a JBL Charge 4, and the Xtreme did not go louder than that. It’s a good speaker, just not worth $300. It’s worth $200

    Love using it in Shower. The Volume could be a little bit louder and crisper. I'm use to listening to High Fidelity. I'm a little bit hard of hearing so I put speaker beside me while watching TV and don't have to blast the TV Volume.

    It Doesn't Stay Charged Long It Supposed To STAY For 15 Hours

      Hi there, thanks for your review. Our JBL Xtreme 2 is rated to give up to 15-hours of playtime depending on volume level, type of music content you are playing and the method of connection (Bluetooth or Wired).

      Battery life would really depend on how the speaker is used. As stated above, music content (i.e. Rap, R&B, Rock, etc.) and volume level would certainly play a major role in the playtime of the speaker. If the speaker is at 80-90% volume playing audio with a lot of BASS, battery play time would be shortened compared to the speaker playing mellow/slow music at 40-50% volume. JBL

    I have the JBL flip 3 and it was louder than the xtreme 2

    It worked great at first then wouldn't connect to my Bluetooth but now it's working again just don't update it.

    Everything was perfect, the speaker did not come with a charger even though it was specifically stated it was an open box item at an excellent condition including all accessories.

If you have already maximized the volume levels on both your source device and the speaker itself and still find the loudness insufficient, please note that the EQ (equalizer) feature can be accessed through the JBL Portable App to adjust and enhance the volume levels of specific frequencies in the audio signal. This feature allows you to personalize sound optimization to better meet your preferences. Should you wish to increase the volume of your JBL Xtreme 2, you can use the app for this purpose.     I bought this along with another one so that we could use dual speakers at an outdoor event. The issue is that they have to stay within a foot of each other to work simultaneously. I thought the point of having speakers was to allow for them to be further apart and have sound all around... it worth the price even in on sale.

While the JBL Connect+ feature does allow the connection of multiple speakers together for a more amplified sound, we recommend that all speakers connected have a clear line of sight of each other and of the main source. This means no obstructions like walls, concrete, or large objects in between each speaker that could possibly sever the connection.
