I take this thing everywhere and love the battery life it has. Couldn't have picked a better portable speaker

The sound on this is absolutely AMAZING. Battery stays charged for a very long time. I love the option to give commands through a smart phone device. Very easy to use. It is heavy so I wouldn't be carrying far distances with the strap which was included. I think a permanent handle would have been a better design.

great battery life, the shoulder strap is extremely convenient. excellent bass for a small unit (hear it clearly over a loud hot tub easily) fits in a golf cart tray. the only negative I can speak to is a lack of forward and reverse buttons on the unit jazz, blues, rap, and rock all sound great!

It sounds great and is easy to use but at the end of the day I didn't want to lug around a giant battery with speakers. Took it back but not because it was bad or anything, just a little inconvenient. It is built incredibly well and strong.

This is an amazing speaker. I film music videos and the JBL - Xtreme 2 speaker has never let me down. The bass and voice clarity is unmatched with any other speaker I've used. I even bought another one to pair with it!! Must Buy!

This speaker is awesome! I bought it around black friday and was a great sale price. The battery life is 15 hours instead of 20 ai am used to from my JBL charge 4 and 3. But it is still a long battery life. The bass hits Low and sounds awesome paired with the other 2 speakers. My only complaint (sorta) is that it does not charge via USB-C. It is a seperate cable like a laptop. 1. This is alot more to lug around 2. All my other devices use USB I can't complain much about it though because it would be a much longer charge time if it was USB-C. I did research and it would be a big challenge to adapt to usb-c, so not worth trying. Things to note. If you are connected to other JBL speakers, metal is a big cut off of the signal. And so it the ground. So if you use these out in the yard they work better on a surface than on the grass. In all, I eould definately recommend to people and already have! No matter your JBL speaker, you will not be disapointed. The higher the price the more sound you get. So many are waterproof and I take them kayaking and jetskiing all summer!!

One of the best speakers that I've ever had. It literally last half the day without being plugged in. I take this speaker everywhere I go.

Sound quality is excellent for a portable speaker of this size. Battery life last for half a day non stop use before has to be recharged. Even has a port for you to use the speaker as a phone charger through USB connection. Jbl delivers with their products in my opinion for what you are paying for.
