This speaker is worth the money! The battery last a long time and the sound quality is very clear.

The volume and bass is great. I live that it's water proof when the port door is clised. It's well built. I think they are lacking in the tweeter department though, which would be an easy fix. There is a way to adjust the bass level, but unfortunately it's difficult to do and basically your choice is lots of bass or no bass. Disappointed. Overpriced. I'd return it but not sure what a better option is.

Go a little bit big in size and price but well worth it. Best Bluetooth speaker I have own. No issues so far!

I still have the original version and thought to wait for version 3 but found the design of version 3 is not to my liking. I actually think this version 2 looks the best and the design is better than the 3 in that the way the battery light and the flap/opening are designed and not to mention 1/2 the price of the 3 that really couldn’t hear the difference in sound quality.... so version 2 was a no brainer for me.

Fifth one purchased. JBL has really become a master of the portable speaker arena, their products standout strongly against even the Bose portable speakers. I purchased the first generation of this product for my wife and loved it so much that I bought two for myself and one for my two kids at Christmas. The smaller JBL around $130 is a great product too. Bonus it has great battery life, lasts for hours, so long that you'll lose the charger due to the gaps in time from when you last had to charge. Second Bonus, this speaker has USB charging ports so you can attach your phone to stay charged too. Third Bonus and possibly the best---- You can tandem multiple JBL speakers for multiple output. You enable this by clicking on a button on the top of each speaker, download the application and make adjustments from it also. This product was very well planned and for that I rewarded JBL with five purchases.

Sounds great,nice and loud with excellent bass response when plugged into outlet. Not so great when using internal rechargeable battery,not loud enough compared to being connected. Good battery life. Only reason I'm keeping it is because Best Buy's 15 day exchange policy has past and I got it on sale for $250. Would not pay $350 regular price. Lacking forward and back track selection buttons,kinda annoying.

JBL Bluetooth speaker is exactly what I have been looking for in a speaker. It has enough bass to give you a full and rich sound. I love the portability and it's not too bulky so I can take it anywhere. I'll even bring it out my boat knowing that it's waterproof.

Jbl extreme 2 is perfect for the gym, work, anywhere to be honest. The sound is pure with bass to match. JBL has stepped there game up tremendously.

Great speaker, loud and clear with bass. The shoulder strap is convenient when taking to the beach.

I'm picky about sound. For what it is, you can't beat this. I did get an open box item that didn't have the right power cord, but I was directed to the local BB branch and they totally fixed everything with no fuss.
