We took them out on the boat and with open throttle could hear the speakers clearly. Only thing I could say is the bass is a little on the lower side but its a bluetooth speaker so it is what it is.

The bass that this speaker is capable of is very impressive. Bought this for my son as my wife bought me the original Xtreme a couple years ago. Love mine and like that they added the hooks for the strap since it is small but has some weight to it and older version is a little odd to carry around.
