Great sound quality. Easy to carry. Much lighter than my previous outdoor portables.

Size / Weight / Bass / Cost ratio is only ok. Personally, prefer the sound quality of the JBL BoomBox or Harman Kardon Onyx 4 or 5 more. The Onyx 4 has better overall balanced audio quality for less cost, with equal or more low frequency response. Onyx 5 has worse imaging than the 4 as it’s a mono speaker, but is good for those who favor bass heavy music. The BoomBox is forceful and has the highest volume with less bass compression and higher levels, but overall tonal match is biased towards highs/lows. Both the BoomBox and Xtreme2 are water proof/water resistant with long battery lives. The Harman Kardon Onyx have shorter battery life, and the Onyx 4 is only splash resistant. Size and Weight are not optimal for any of these 4, as they are all on the heavy side and take up a lot of space if traveling. When on sale, the Onyx 4 or Onyx 5 are a much better value.

Great quality sound and has good battery life. I also like the speaker to take calls.

Great sound, easily portable, connects automatic to different users. Little pricy

The speaker had nice quality sound, was easy to transport, and paired easily with the phone. We needed a speaker that would pair with a lapel mic and the phone and this speaker wouldn't pair with two items. Nothing was wrong with this speaker.

2nd purchase of this awesome speaker. Portable and loud. used for the golf course and camping. highly recommended!

This speaker not only sounds great but it lasts all day. Sounds better when plugged in. It limits the volume a bit when running on battery power in order to give you the 15 hours of playback. I’m ok with that because I’m able to get 9hours out of it daily.

Hi Great sounding JBL Speaker I had the two of these now and I alway get People what to use it . I will say it is a good sound and the bass is very well used in it and hold's it own sound for a round sound and not a large foot print .

Just moved into a home with a pool and wanted some extra depth to our smaller jbl. I can put the anywhere in the back of my yard and hear the music clear and with depth anywhere! Being is can get a little wet also is great. Adding the smaller jbl to link up is a plus

Overall great sound from jbl. Plays great at various volumes, at high volume may pitch out but depending on song, bass hits where it needs, convenient carry on strap for it size. Im enjoying it very much
