The sound of the JBL Xtreme 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is really good. It's a little big but I am using it at home and not really transporting it anywhere so it works for me. One thing that I had problems with was getting the port open to recharge the speaker. It was way to hard to open. Other than that, I am a satisfied customer.

Even though I bought an open box item… can’t complain at all… it’s like a brand new . With a great sound… Loving it.

This little speaker has surprisingly great sound for its size. Bass is thumping, treble is trebbling, tweeters are tweeting.

This thing puts out some sound! Bass is tremendous. It dwarfs most of the other personal speakers I've heard.

This speaker sounds amazing, and it has great bluetooth range. We have used it on job sites, boats, by the pool and even in the house to provide background music in rooms without stereos.

I purchased the extended warranty on my Extreme and it’s a good thing I did because after 2 years the battery stopped holding a charge. I bought the Extreme 2 and I’m happy. It has a little more bass but otherwise is pretty much the same. I like JBL Bluetooth speakers, but their batteries don’t last so keep that in mind when purchasing.
