It doesn’t take a cart to move it around, water and spills resistant, excellent bass and soundstage if you feed it with good source material like the one coming out of a paid music service with higher streaming quality, I believe it’s also more affordable now than when I bought it, you won’t be disappointed.

When I was testing out this speaker it clearly sounded better than the rest. It has great clarity and outstanding bass. The shoulder strap that it comes with make it easy and comfortable to carry. Seems to have decent battery and easy to use. Very happy with this speaker.

The sound quality is excellent- great bass and great portability-love the carrying strap. I have been using it in my vintage VW bug and it is loud enough for great sound in a fairly noisy car. The battery life is great!

Excellent sound quality from this wireless speaker from JBL. The bass is decent but not overwhelming. Bluetooth connections to devices is almost instantaneous. While the speaker is a bit bigger and heavier than other wireless speakers, you can see and feel the high quality of the Xtreme 2. The Xtreme 2 holds a charge for a very long time and I can enjoy music for hours. I wasn't sure I'd use the carrying strap at first but have found that it's a really convenient way to carry the speaker. My daughter has used this speaker several times for backyard parties. it's a blast!

I got it because I am always attracted by great bass and quality. When I saw the price, though it is a JBL XTRM 2, I mean a little old model, I started using it, I am happy with the sound, but I have to see how the battery performs, but I guess that will take some time to get results from since I do not use it a lot... I also saw some other vendors with lower pricing, but since I have a genuineness concern, I wanted to go with Best Buy!

There's a reason JBL has the largest market share when it comes to portable speakers. The entire line, from top to bottom is well thought out, well designed, and well built. Their speakers also sound pretty good for what they are. The Extreme is no exception. We expect it to be as durable as our Clip and Charge speakers and like the fact it provides enough power for most outdoor applications. Our only minor complaint is that the speaker can sound a bit boomy depending on what you're listening to. A built in EQ circuit accessible by an app would be nice.

Love this speaker! Has amazing sound quality and high volume base. Love the strap that also comes with the speaker-tough made construction will outlast many others! Bought speaker for Portable traveling purposes. Would definitely recommend and would purchase again if I need to!

This speaker is great!!! My son brings it with him to play basketball with his friends. We used it at his graduation party out front where we had corn hole set up and the sound was great. The strap makes it so easy to carry with you. Perfect portable speaker!

The JBL Xtreme 2 portable speaker is definitely one of the better speakers out there. It lasted me about 7-8 hours at medium volume and charges quick. Easy to use and the strap it comes with makes it easy to carry. Everything from the sound of the music to the bass sounds great.

Bought to use at work in a machine shop and it’s perfect portable and does not take up a lot of space on my work bench easily herd at mod volume over all my machines also being able to connect to others in the shop with the JBL link is super easy and convenient

Ok, so I was looking for a good Bluetooth speaker to keep in the bathroom, i didn't care much about if it was waterproof but that's a good perk, I was thinking very very hard about this because I heard that the Xtreme 1 had more bass and that was my initial intent to buy, but i heard the battery had issues on them plus we about to go into 2019 and i don't want no outdated 5 year old used speaker (most are about refurbished or like new) so i looked into this bad boy the Xtreme 2, and i must admit i love the design, the color, the weight is pretty heavy but that what you would expect from the size of the Xtreme anyway, the step below this was the charge 3 and that to me was a joke. For some reason, JBL decided to focus more on battery with this or there newer model bluetooth speakers than actual sound quality, and sometimes with the Xtreme 2, i don't feel the bass like I would with my Onyx studio 3. The only reason why i decided to keep it was because its a newer model and its %100 water proof where as the Xtreme 1 was water resistant but still can take a few decent splashes. Now if u leave this thing plugged it then WOW. Can feel it through wall, The bass is increased and the sound is louder, but on battery not to impressed with how they cut sound quality to preserve battery life. They did do a update for it which you have to do through an app but it didnt help it much, still sounds good but not great. I wished they would make it to where it has a option to how you want to hear you're music, like playing it louder but u sacrifice battery life, those little options means alot when you only use it for only a few minutes a day. Still a good speaker with a decent punch.

I bought this on a whim because we needed some music on a project site. First off it is very user friendly (easy to hook up with bluetooth or you can use a patch cord). Once it's charged you can unplug it and move it anywhere and it keeps it's charge. The strap is useful to hang it on anything (for us it kept it off the floor which improves the acoustics.) But the biggest surprise is what great sound comes from this small unit.

This Bluetooth speaker is a little on the large side but it comes with a shoulder strap for easy carry and the battery life and sound make it worth it for me. I also use it with my projector for outdoor movies and it has plenty of sound in an open environment.

Have an older (smaller) JBL Charge that has been a great product and still use it all the time. My parents are older and still have the old CD/Tape player 'boombox style' radio that they play CD's on at the lakehouse, but it is fairly limited and too bulky to bring down to the dock. I decided to upgrade their music experience by getting them this along with a bluetooth MP3 player loaded with all their favorite music. We used it all weekend over the Memorial Day weekend over there and it was a big hit. Good thing is, it is water resistant, so don't have to worry about it getting splashed when the kids are playing around it. Great sound (as always) and even though it is relatively new to the family, if it holds up as well as the Charge has we expect to be using it for many years to come. I may actually get one for myself!

Replacing my big and very old stereo--moving it to basement--and wanted a speaker that we could easily listen to and would sound very good. This is the real thing--sounds great and lightweight, and waterproof!

This speaker has very good quality sound and is easy to move around. Fills a large area. It can also be connected to some other JBL speakers for larger areas. This has become my go to speaker for the deck and other outside areas.

By far one of the best purchases we have ever made. Its a little cumbersome but once you get used to the weight and size it's a great speaker. Sound quality is excellent and the blue tooth hookup/connection is extremely easy. Highly recommend!

Hi quality audio for music and listening to podcast and books online Good bass especially with the extra power when it's plugged in. It's Hi Fidelity quality especially in a living room or indoor setting. Best indoors and plugged in for the added bass boost. Very portable with nice carrying strap. The bottle opener on the strap works.

My first encounter with JBL Xtreme bluetooth speaker was a few years ago with the first edition. I was so blown away with the sound and especially the bass coming out of this speaker. So when I saw this new edition on sale I had to jump on it because 2 is always better than one. All my friends like to borrow it because it has such a great sound and is portable for back yard picnics.
