Exactly what I was looking for to play music in a small setting outdoors, although I'm sure it works well indoors too. I mainly use this while outside grilling or by the pool. The sound, clarify and bass is excellent as well as the Bluetooth range and battery life. Overall very happy with this speaker so far.

Excellent sound. We needed a portable speaker to listen to music from our iPhones. The Bluetooth connection has surprising range. The internal battery provides days of music before recharging is needed.

Sound quality is excellent. Portability is hands down the best thing since the boom box in the 90’s. Easy to connect to your phone or devices. I use it in the bathroom. Outside while picking weeds. And my kids love it on are bike rides.

Great speaker. I love the strap for walking around. The battery life is incredible. I sometimes go days without having to charhe it. I had to replace it one because the power button would not always work. Replacement took a couple of weeks to get here. Overall I would recommend getting because it does sound great.

Bangin! Sounds great, links up easily, strap is very convenient, the weatherproof is awesome. I can't wait to take it to the beach, camping, tailgating, etc. once this world gets back to normal.

Second one!!! The quality of sound coming from this speaker is impressive. I had previously purchased one of these on sale and immediately knew I was happy with my purchase. I use multiple JBL speakers via the JBL Connect app to stream music across a large area. When I saw this on sale again, this time for half regular price, I could not pass up picking up another one!!!! There are louder speakers at this price point but I feel like the quality of sound is sacrificed for volume with the other speakers. This speaker sounds excellent at any volume! Battery life is dependent on volume but falls in line with the competition. The built in power bank is a major plus!! Cannot go wrong with JBL!

Great sound, easy to use, excellent battery life, sturdy.

Love it. I have 2 JBL 5's but the Xtreme is even better. It has about 20 hours of battery so now I only need 1 speaker for a full 5-8 hours at the beach or pool. The sound is great. The strap is handy since it's a little heavy. I just put it in my beach bag. The cover is a little difficult to open when you need to charge it but since it's waterproof, I can understand why it needs to be secured. I'm happy with my purchase. Love all my JBL's.

A portable speaker is nice for bringing music to areas of the house that do not have a sound system, the garage, and anywhere else you want to listen to tunes. The sound produced is decent. It lacks some bass but has a punchy mid-range. The Bluetooth connection works well. It is well-built and easy to carry. It also comes with a carry strap.

Needed a portable speaker, so i went with this JBL. I also have the first generation. This one sounds great and has an excellent battery life. I'd buy another if i needed one.

This speaker is more portable than our JBL Charge 4 despite the larger size. Having the strap makes it easy to take where ever. Durable and water resistant. Good sound quality as well. Fantastic addition to the JBL family.

the speaker i use at work it almost everyday gets wet, dropped, or cement on it. And yet the sound quality has not diminished deep bass and loud crystal clear. Great battery life .awesome speaker

Great speaker....travels well. Sound is fantastic and can go pretty loud. We take it with us everywhere. Plus it is waterproof! It pair easy to your phone and the sound quality is great.

This is a great portable speaker. Battery is long lasting and sound is great. It is the perfect size for travel.

My boyfriend purchased this for me as one of my Christmas gifts and it is wonderful so loud and the bass is even better and the best part it is waterproof and the battery last many days

We love jbl speakers they work great. We have had other brands but this brand is the best. Great sound quality and battery life very easy to use
