Stereo mode with two of these powerhouses filled up my entire first floor.

I do think it could use more mid range sound for my listening type but lows and highs are good.

I purchased a prior generation of the same speaker about 5 years ago. I still have that one but wanted another. I enjoy the sound the Extreme 2 produces.

We have used it consistently for 22 months with zero issues. Two year warranty is a good idea, since this is our second JBL. Otherwise, provides great sound for working out in our gym and in the backyard.
