I finally got to try it today in my backyard because I'm having a cookout party on Saturday, I wasn't expressed, I had it on the loudest it can go up, and it failed. I'll be returning it back to Best Buy and trying the next thing up.

But on the same note for the $$ the size & weight of this it doesn't get very loud at all compared to my small $30 Bluetooth speakers. If it was half the size with the same sound quality it would be a great 5 star speaker

Good for 1-year- BUY the extended warranty!!

I bought an aftermarket one on Amazon for $30 and it only lasted 2 months. Apparently the internal charger was over charging the battery making the unit very hot. I was told to buy a new charger cord, and another battery (#3). This worked for a few months and died again. JBL would only offer me a discount coupon for 25% off another JBL product purchased directly thru them that had very limited options. I decided to cut my losses and go with a new SONY. This is the first JBL product that I've owned that has given me trouble.
