It's probably due to it being larger in size but the bass is so much more noticeable than the charge 4. Overall, this is great speaker to have. Also got is on sale for $149 which is a steal (at least for me).

Has nice clear sound and long battery life. You can control some of the features from your phone which is convenient. Overall great purchase.
