Love the sound. It’s perfect. Got this for my son for Christmas. He was thrilled. Chaleaoer but better quality than Bose

I had the original JBL Xtreme but decided to upgrade to the Xtreme 2. Both models are exceptional but the Xtreme 2 does have better sound quality. Recently I bought another Xtreme 2 and they seamlessly sync together. Everybody loves when I bring my speakers from social gatherings to climbing trips. This model is completely waterproof as well!

for those loyal to brands like Bose or Beats need to really consider the JBL. money well spent, sound it twice as good in open spaces and has enough low end punch outdoors. Bought Bose but it was so weak outside that had to return it for this one.

I have owned a couple smaller JBL Flip3 speakers and they have worked well in the past, but after 3 years the batteries are not lasting as long, so I decided to upgrade. The Xtreme2 has very good sound and the battery lasts quite a while. Obviously it wouldn't be as convenient to carry around as the Flip3, but for around the house or yard or at the hot tub it works great.

Excellent sound & very conveinent. Only drawback is finding the right usb connector for it.....
