I was looking for a new loud speaker and this JBL speaker is it!!! It’s loud and also has a strap you can use to carry it kinda like a purse haha. Don’t even get me started on the battery life… I only charge it like once a week.

I am a fan of Bose speakers, but this one I bought it as a Christmas gift for my husband, I went to the store and listened to a few Bose portable speakers and this JBL Portable speaker was the one I preferred. Indeed, it did not disappointed my husband and myself. Sound Quality is great compared to a few Bose I tried, also you don't have to worry about running out of battery for hours. It might be a bit expensive for a portable speaker but it is really worth it. Better to get it when it comes on sale. I do Recommend it!

An EQ app is an must for this speaker. JBL out of the box cranked up the bass on these. On my EQ setting I have never had to turn down the bass as I have, its not a complaint. Once dialed in these are the sweetest under 200 dollar BT speaker I have ever owned. Did not take too long to find the sweet spot for low, mid, and highs. JBL is an underrated headphone and speaker maker. I was worried about the sound not being 360. Don't mind that, It sounds better than the 360 speaker I have.

I'm a bit of a speaker connoisseur, and this one is amazing! The sound is full, the bass is deep (for it's size), and the battery life is the best I've seen on a speaker of this kind. Add in the strap for portability, and this thing can go anywhere with you, any time. I have had it for a week and can't stop using it/bragging about it!

My first JBL extreme (1) lasted for 10+ years. This new JBL Extreme 2 portable speaker has even better sound and the battery lasts a really long time! The speaker is well made and can take a lot of abuse when using. A good buy from BestBuy.

Sounds great, easy Bluetooth connect, comes with great carrying strap, waterproof, great battery life, I am very happy with this product.

I waited to review this speaker because I wanted to see how it would hold up and perform. So far after 4 months of use I am still in love. Using speaker while working on my rental properties has bred great, not only does the sound fill large open spaces well, but the charge feature for phones and other usb devices has been a blessing. This past weekend my family and I took it camping where there wasn’t power. We had music all night Friday and Saturday morning and then I charged my phone back to 100% from almost dead. Headed out for the day and came back late afternoon for some more music and then my 2 daughters charged their phones as well. We had music till late and then again Sunday morning when I charged my phone again. The JBL kept right on going. I still had enough power to play music even when we got home. I cannot day enough about the charge feature if this speaker. BT connectivity is super smooth and simple, even for my kids who always fight for who’s gonna connect next. Pairing has never been an issue. All in all it’s a great portable speaker. Construction seems to be rock solid and capable of some abuse while I haven’t had the misfortune of fully testing that and not to. You will not regret purchasing one of these speakers.

The speaker has Excellent sound quality! Worthy of the JBL brand name. Its lightweight and the shoulder strap was a brilliant touch. Makes it easy to move around with. The cost can be viewed as pricey to some. I believe you get what you pay for and you either can pay the money upfront or later down the line (in replacing an inferior item) I paid $150 for my Xtreme 2. Money well spent. I would definitely recommend the xtreme 2 and would purchase it again myself.

This speaker is great. A little more than the standard JBLs without being a pain to have portably. Great quality. Great price. Also I have purchased JBL products elsewhere and ended up with bad experiences. I've not had that with Best Buy more than 1 time.

This soeaker sounds great, i use it around the house because it really shines indoors but also take it to work with me and it still does well but doesnt have the same amount of bass in a big open automotive shop as it does in a smaller room of a house but still sounds great and i can clearly hear my music! Definitely recommend!

I am always impressed by the shipping speed and quality of electronics that I buy on bestbuy. I bought this speaker on Nov 30th and by Dec 3rd I had it. I own a charge 3 but I decided to upgrade.i love the sound quality of the extreme2..the mids are amazing,the highs are crisp and the bass is mind blowing. This speaker can get very loud.. I immensely love the quality of this JBL speaker..The only challenge is that it's not portable but there are other JBL lines for that. Highly recommended.

price wasnt bad because i got it on sale, its loud, bass is decent, and even louder when plugged in, can connect to other jbls

This speaker sounds great. I bought one previously and have never had any issues connecting or keeping a connection with the speaker. However the primary reason I bought a second one was so that I could sync the two of my speakers and play through both at the same time as is advertised. However I’ve only been able to achieve this a few times. Most times when I hit the sync button on the unit it will just shut off. Despite this it’s a great speaker but I am disappointed that it’s practically impossible to connect the two.

GenX you will love this product. Get your parachute pants on and tell your wife to tease up her hair like it’s 1984 again and crank up the tunes wherever you want. Disclaimer-Caution while skateboarding; you are not 16 again- but would make a hilarious commercial that would aell a ton if these to well-healed X-ers!
