I love JBL. I got this as a replacement for my party box 100 by JBL because I recently downsized from a house to an apartment. The sound quality is crisp and the carrying sling makes it so convenient to carry the speaker around

We had a set of Bose SoundTouch 10's that we could not keep connected to the internet as they could be used as Bluetooth or internet speakers. They were such a hassle for me and my wife would not even attempt to use. We opted to get a bigger Bluetooth speaker to fill a large room. We picked the right speaker. Very well balanced with good base. No need to have two linked in stero as one produces such good sound. Another perk is the ability to charge a phone or tablet several times in a power outage.

I own a variety of JBL speakers. I have 2 Flip 5 speakers, a JBL Party Box and now this one. They are all amazing. The batteries have a really long life and the Bluetooth reaches really far. My husband used to make amazing speakers for a living and he is even impressed with the sound quality.

Fantastic Speaker at a great price! I was looking at the Flip and Charge speakers by JBL. The Xtreme2 never crossed my mind because of the price being > $250. But when it dropped hundred dollars I scooped it up. This was a great purchase--great bass impact (for a portable speaker) and the mids and highs were quite adequate. These are not audiophile speakers and I don't expect them to be but they are fantastic for hooking up to a phone via Bluetooth or Aux cable to play music/sound. I also use them as the Default speaker for my Google Nest Hub and they work great to bring more impact for music that the Hub just cannot provide. I was thinking about the Sony equivalent which was also the same price but that one didn't have an Aux-in feature which I use occasionally. Of course, this is heavy and bulky--not a dainty speaker. It has a shoulder strap to help move it around easily--but I don't move it often. I'm so glad this went on sale pre-Black-Friday; this was a deal!

Out of the 4 other JBL speakers I own this one is my favorite for it's loudness and ability to connect to 2 of my other speakers. JBL hasn't allowed it to connect to all of their models so if you own older models like me , only the upgrade one's connect to the newer models which sucks but isn't a completely bad thing. I love the size and the new design of this one! Great for home and beach use!

Great little speaker. It plays loud and clear. It has a nice look to it and is very portable. I was a little nervous at how loud it would be compared to its larger versions. However once I turned it on, I was very happy.

It’s a fairly large speaker, but has a nice shoulder strap that comes with it. Fantastic sound! Very loud so if you’re wanting to have this by your pool or hot tub, or grilling out then it’s definitely number one pick!

This is my 3rd time buying this speaker because I use it in multiple rooms and I love that you can sync the same song with an app on your phone. The sound is crisp and it's a pretty loud speaker. Very durable

Puts out good sound. Holds a charge for a long time and puts out the tunes at a good volume. Worth the money.

Bought it for the hot tub. Sounds great, waterproof, and strap makes carrying with beers in the hand simple. Love it

Upgraded from a JBL Charge 3 we bought a few years ago, and the Xtreme 2 is stronger, louder and maintains the quality sound we expect. We used it for an outdoor slideshow presentation with music, and it's plenty loud to get the job done. The carry strap is convenient, but not necessarily needed since it's not that heavy. Very happy and will continue to buy JBL products for portable speakers.
