Bought this for my son for Christmas and I’m impressed. It’s a little on the heavy side, but the trade off is great sound and lots of base.

This speaker is awesome! I bought it around black friday and was a great sale price. The battery life is 15 hours instead of 20 ai am used to from my JBL charge 4 and 3. But it is still a long battery life. The bass hits Low and sounds awesome paired with the other 2 speakers. My only complaint (sorta) is that it does not charge via USB-C. It is a seperate cable like a laptop. 1. This is alot more to lug around 2. All my other devices use USB I can't complain much about it though because it would be a much longer charge time if it was USB-C. I did research and it would be a big challenge to adapt to usb-c, so not worth trying. Things to note. If you are connected to other JBL speakers, metal is a big cut off of the signal. And so it the ground. So if you use these out in the yard they work better on a surface than on the grass. In all, I eould definately recommend to people and already have! No matter your JBL speaker, you will not be disapointed. The higher the price the more sound you get. So many are waterproof and I take them kayaking and jetskiing all summer!!

Gave this to my son as a gift for Christmas. We tested it and it sounds great. I did not like the way Best Buy shipped it to my home. It was in the original JBL box with a label slapped on the JBL box so everyone could see what it was. Someone could have at least put it in a brown shipping box to protect it more and hide the content. So far the speaker works great but haven't given it a lot of testing.
