I was already impressed with my still working JBL Charge 2 of 5 years. I wanted to treat myself with another bluetooth wireless speaker and decided on the Xtreme 2 since getting the Charge 4 would be somewhat redundant. I use the Xtreme 2 indoors as my primary streaming speaker system. The sound quality is well balanced and not distorted at peak volume. There is slight volume reduction in battery only unplugged but it is still plenty loud enough unless you're trying to broadcast out in a football field...

Speaker has a great sound/ perfect size for you to carry around/ strap has the right with. Over all it’s the perfect speaker!

I own an older JBL Charge that has treated me very well. I purchased this Xtreme 2 to get bigger sound. I was able to hear this speaker before I bought it because a friend has one. I have always been impressed by the overall sound quality from JBL products. The bass is not overdriven so the sound is more natural. It looks weird and has an odd shape, but it sounds great. I only gave it 4 stars because it will not play full volume on batteries alone. You must plug in the power supply to access full volume. I think there is is an app to change that. Otherwise, it has great sound.

I like this speaker very much. It has good sound quality and is easy to connect with Bluetooth. But, I usually use with my iPhone and I do manually have to go through the Bluetooth menu every time. It works great then but my TVs, multiple headphones and other speakers will show up without manually going through the menu and selecting it every time. Otherwise, it’s great and the strap is handy to carry it around. I like that it does NOT have Alexa or Google Assist features.

This item has the quality you've come to expect from JBL. Great sound, options to charge other devices, Bluetooth and hard wired connection and linkable with other JBL devices. Could be a bit louder for my tastes but sounds awesome.

I had an original JBL Xtreme. I had hoped that the Xtreme 2 could pair with it, but it cannot. Nevertheless, these speakers provide amazing sound and are easy to operate. They are rugged and the battery life is excellent. I got this one on sale and could not be happier. JBL rocks!

This speaker is amazing, Believe me you wont regret it, If you’re looking for something to be able to carry around with strong bass and power, this is it, If you’re gonna keep it stationary then the boombox would be better for that extra bass, but the Xtreme is amazing, Battery Life is super long

I think it the most valuable blue-tooth speak worth of my spent dollars or your serious consideration. First, it is on sale, enabling you to get the device at lower, or low, cost, ; second, its sound quality is good and satisfactory, don't expect it to be perfect since that ought not to be the expectation on this kind of product; third, it allows you to use it in several different ways: as blue-tooth speaker, as wired speaker, as one pairing with the other, as outlet charger when battery power is full or healthy; fourth, carrying strap makes it more convenient to take for outdoor activities. I love this JBL speaker and shall not think otherwise unless I can enjoy the same percent of discount on Xtreme 3.
