It’s pretty fantastic. Upgrade the firmware after you get it, it’s a decent improvement. You’d be hard pressed to find better bass in a decent sized Bluetooth speaker.

Very nice speaker with impressive battery life, lots of power, and a nice bass response. However, it comes up a bit short in the treble and mid-range. I’d prefer a better overall balance over bass-heavy sound, but it’s still a nice unit and was the best splash-resistant portable speaker I could find. No regrets.

The JBL Xtreme 2 has absolutely incredible sound, especially the bass.

This speaker is exactly what I was looking for. It is a bit heavy so don’t rely on any kiddos to pack it around. It is very loud and works for our very huge shop.

This product has amazing sound and is convenient because of its feature where if the user desires a louder and bassier sound he can plug it in to turn the 20W portable speaker into a 40W speaker.

I bought this speaker to listen to music while cleaning and to take outside while playing basketball with my daughter. The speaker has really good sound even at high volumes and doesn't distort.

The sound of this beast of a product is on another level

Very good sound from a compact speaker. Big sound. Easily connects to blue tooth devices. However, the quick start guide/instruction manual is rather pathetic and I shared those concerns with JBL.

Great speaker. Full sound with highs and great bass. A little hefty to take on the go but great for my patio and pool parties. I downloaded the JBL app for updates.

This is by far the best portable speaker around. I had bought the jbl Boombox2 but exchanged it for this because it was too big. The extreme 2 is much more portable.

got this for my home gym when the coronavirus shut things down. I use it for everything now. Great sound great bass and it can get loud! Had for about a month now and no complaints

Great quality & sound. Did stop working about a week outside of warranty, JBL honored it nonetheless. Second speaker works just as well as the first.

I can't get the charger port open so I'm not able to use this as much as I would like. Is it my fingers? Or poor design?
