Needed a portable speaker, so i went with this JBL. I also have the first generation. This one sounds great and has an excellent battery life. I'd buy another if i needed one.

the speaker i use at work it almost everyday gets wet, dropped, or cement on it. And yet the sound quality has not diminished deep bass and loud crystal clear. Great battery life .awesome speaker

Great speaker....travels well. Sound is fantastic and can go pretty loud. We take it with us everywhere. Plus it is waterproof! It pair easy to your phone and the sound quality is great.

My boyfriend purchased this for me as one of my Christmas gifts and it is wonderful so loud and the bass is even better and the best part it is waterproof and the battery last many days

This is a great portable speaker. Battery is long lasting and sound is great. It is the perfect size for travel.

A portable speaker is nice for bringing music to areas of the house that do not have a sound system, the garage, and anywhere else you want to listen to tunes. The sound produced is decent. It lacks some bass but has a punchy mid-range. The Bluetooth connection works well. It is well-built and easy to carry. It also comes with a carry strap.

JBL makes the best Bluetooth speakers on the market. They sound better than Bose speakers I have had. Are convenient to take anywhere and waterproof. Got it on sale which makes it extremely good value

I have always been happy with my JBL products. The Xtreme 2 has great sound quality offering deep base while hitting higher pitched sounds with no problems.

I was deciding between this or buying one of Sonys portable speakers, as I own a pair of Sony XM4’s and the audio quality of those headphones is impressive. What sold me mainly on this speaker was the portable carrying strap. Taking it on the go has been very easy, and the sound quality is very good as well. Great bass, and the speaker itself can get very loud. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for great portability.

Not too loud but just loud enough. I love this speaker I’ve taken it out camping and didn’t have to charge it once! Very sturdy speaker and water proof! Can’t complain.

LOUD! I saw this at a pool party and just had to get my own. Now we can link both together for even more boom. Plus don't have to worry about getting it wet. Loving the battery life too!

This speaker has absolutely great sound quality and durability. The price is a bit high compared to speakers in it's category, but if sound quality is important to you, then it's worth the price. The shape makes it easy to carry on a hiking backpack which is something I use it for. Great to use as a speaker for watching movies on your laptop or phone too. Overall satisfied and I look forward to purchasing more JBL and Harmon products to use the Connect+ feature.

This is a good portable speaker that gives a decent amount of sound and bass. This one is also water resistant so that's a plus if you want to take it to the lake or the pool.

Amazing sound right off the bat, that's first thing anyone should know. I did my research on different speakers and I decided on this one with out trying it in store first, it was a gift for my wife and she instantly love the sound quality and amount of bass that it produces. This can honestly replace us hooking up to our sound bar in the living room for listening to music while we clean. This jbl definitely is a high quality product. But don't let the pictures fool you it is bigger in person the in photos but still fairly light weight.

This JBL speaker is a perfect size to get a party goin. I dont have to lag around a big bulky box on wheels to get a great sound. With a mixture of nice deep bass n highs, this JBL speaker delivers great sound for any genre of music. Havent tested out the limits for range on Bluetooth but the range that ive been at so far works great for me

The sound is very great and the volume levels allow you to here if from far. The carrying strap makes it very easy to take to and from places.
