I purchased this for my father two years ago and he continues to use it every day. He uses it in his golf cart, on the patio, in his living room, while traveling, while watching football, while cleaning the garage, etc... I would have thought twice about the purchase if I fully understood his dynamic affinity for show tunes.

This guy puts out some fantastic sound and setup couldn't be simpler however, the bluetooth started to get pretty flakey a few months in. It doesn't drop the connection completely, but it will "stutter" enough to be really annoying.

The speaker works well with good volume & bass. I love the color which blends with my decor. The downside is the app is very basic and could be improved. I bought it on sale, so it was an excellent deal.

Immediate pairing and longer range than I expected. More volume than I need to use. Played all day on a full battery charge.

I bought this item but returned it because of its sleep feature. It would try to go to sleep as soon as it did not detect any sound. Meaning that if a song or a movie didn't have constant sound for about a second it would try to go to sleep causing it to miss a 1 or 2 seconds of the song or movie. I read online and other people also had the issue. Someone said that a work around is to have a constant low frequency noise on the back ground so the sleep feature doesn't activate.

To put it shortly, my husband is a speaker snob. This speaker is a replacement for his previous speaker which was a JBL Xtreme (original model). Although the previous speaker we purchased was on sale at $150, the battery wouldn't keep charge anymore (this one was $350), he loves this speaker. Sound quality is awesome. Price is the only bummer. Yes we purchased the warranty. JBL products appear to be superior to many other products
