Gave this to my son as a gift for Christmas. We tested it and it sounds great. I did not like the way Best Buy shipped it to my home. It was in the original JBL box with a label slapped on the JBL box so everyone could see what it was. Someone could have at least put it in a brown shipping box to protect it more and hide the content. So far the speaker works great but haven't given it a lot of testing.

Overall Great Product! JBL is usually always my go to for speakers and this item doesn't disappoint. It's very light weight and easy to transport. It's not much bigger than the Charge 4 or Charge 5. But, it has almost 3X the power. Great beach, park, and/or party speaker. Got mine on sale (Be On The Lookout For This).

We use this speaker every weekend. It has a great sound and was easy to pair with both of our phones. Would definitely recommend!

Well balance stereo sound unlike it’s smaller, single speaker counterparts. Don’t get me wrong, the smaller ones are good. But how are you going to go from a two speaker Charge 3 to a single speaker Charge 4, I don’t understand. Maybe it’s just to make you buy two and use the JBL link. The Xtreme 2 is so much better and at $150 for Black Friday, it’s great. Until two months later that the Xtreme 3 gets released, then you’re going to want that one.

Wow, i purchased as a gift for a teenager and i admit, the sound from this light weight speaker is incredibly sharp. Powerful, well built and definitely worth the price. My son absolutely loves this gift and says its one of the best gifts anyone can get...I must agree. Great product and great quality overall....very very satisfied!... i want one for myself!

This speaker has the best sound and great base of all the smaller wireless speakers I have heard. The only issue I have, which I have read in other reviews, is I wish it was louder. With that said, I would buy another one and recommend this speaker for sure.

Very nice speaker,the best part that its water resistant and you could connect a few of them together.

The speaker is so nice and loud. The battery last a long time as well , but if it’s cold then it will only for about five hours . I say that about the battery because I work in a cooler stocking and I need the volume and battery life.

I love the speaker. Not as loud as I'd expect a speaker to be at this price point, I can't seem to give it five stars. Does it have room shaking base? Nope, but it does have great sound. I take it in my garage and which is across my 1 acre lot and I can still here it clearly. I can play music all day and still have a decent charge afterwards and so far it seems extremely durable. May look for a sub to go with this if you want some really deep bass but otherwise, it's a go!

JBL has always had some of the best quality speakers out on the market in my opinion. Sound quality, battery life and water resistance make the Extreme a must imo. Also pretty affordable and thats always nice.

I love JBL speaker products. I bought the clip and charge products. Decided to get this this speaker based on reviews, size, sound, and the fact it had a carrying strap and i LOVE IT!!! if you like to listen to music and take your speaker with you, especially with large groups = need more volume and this is perfect! A little loud for a bedroom speaker but can still work at lower volumes.
