The JBL X2 is larger than I expected - i purchased on-line and did not get a chance to see it in store. The sound is very good but I have not tried it outside yet to see if it is as loud as I expect it to be. Very solid and the hooks & strap are very useful for carrying and attaching to various items while enjoying the music. Purchased on-sale for $99.

Sound quality cant be beat. Very durable I have three of them now that can be paired.

I didn’t have to write my review. In December 18, 2022 I bought speaker. bass was so loud! I don’t want to get waterproof. Guys like music bass for work.

very happy with my speaker it sound very loud and clear, the bluetooth range its aprox between 100ft and 150ft.

Incredible speaker. No issues yet and I’ve had it for a few month. Great step up if you want something a little louder then the smaller version but still portable. The shoulder strap makes it so you can take this thing anywhere without a hassle. Also, it’s waterproof.

This speakers packs a punch! This is perfect for outdoor events or even hiking!

I take this everywhere now. It's the best size, maybe a little smaller than a 2L bottle, and it has a shoulder strap. Actually bought this for a float down the river and 4th of July party, no issues. They make larger speakers, like boom boxes, but that seemed like overkill on the power, and not as portable. You may be able to get away with a smaller speaker like a Link or Flex, especially for personal use, but this speaker will fill a room with quality sound. The only thing this speaker doesn't have is digital assistant/wifi. You'll have to look at the more expensive Sonos or the smaller Link.

Bought this for the back yard just to have music going! This thing is loud! Plus I love the shoulder strap just in case you’d like to travel with it!

I can't recommend this thing enough! It bumps hard, it's sturdy, the portable charger in it is great. It's definitely saved some bad times when we're camping.

still works, good quality sound, good base, handy and most of all it is water resistant.

Got this speaker to bring to the pool, the windy beach, and for outdoor movie night. It works very well and we are happy with it. The only drawback is that you have to use the provided cord to charge it. It would be more convenient if they used a universal charging usb or usb C cable. The battery last a long time. We used it for a couple of hours several days in a row and didn’t need to charge the device. We are familiar with the JBL smaller option but wanted something that could be heard in a loud or windy environment.

This was a gift for my son’s birthday and he really likes it. It keeps its clarity even when it gets louder.

Purchased this in place of the smaller ones that I returned. decided this one wasn’t worth the extra 200. Returned this one. Bought 2 of the smaller ones installed the app to make separate channels sounds great if you can keep them paired. I may try 2 of these and see if they stay paired. If not I will return. Don’t get me wrong the sound is amazing but I need 2 for my setup.

Great sound. Long battery life. Could be a little louder but has enough especially with the clarity.

I have been seriously impressed with this speaker. It is very rugged, I have been caught in the rain, brought it to the beach in the sand, and used it in cold winter weather. It has worked flawlessly in every situation. The battery life is long, super long. I can go days, even a week without charging. It has a USB port on back so you can charge devices from the battery, it’s slow but handy in a situation outdoors with no outlets nearby. It comes with a carry strap which is super handy for when you are hiking out to a spot. Overall I am super impressed.

This little Boom-Box is a must have. It’s definitely worth the sticker price and when paired with other JBL devices it immediately becomes the perfect surround sound system from my side-by-side, to relaxing around a campfire.
