We paired with our blu-ray dvd projector and can sit anywhere around the pool, just pick up and move. Sound is more then enough and the battery will outlast us

I stand by the notion that JBL has the best bang for your buck when it comes to speakers, and this one is no different. My one criticism I have for it is the range for bluetooth is not as great as the Charge. For most insances its a non-issue, just know it’ll get choppy if you try to listen to music while doing chores around the house with your phone in your pocket.

Love it, use it everyday. It sounds great . I've had it a month and only charged it twice.

This thing is awesome. Pairs with my JBL flip. It's loud and clear. It quickly became my go to speaker to play music and podcasts while I work. The strap has a bottle opener as well. What more do you need?

But...it’s loud but not as loud as you’d think. Also the main reason why I purchased this was because my friend has the same one. JBL has an app that allows you to sync them up via their built in Bluetooth. If you get more than 5’ away the music starts cutting out. I reached out to JBL tech support and they said I should be able to go at least 10 meters. Do the math. That’s a lot more than 5 feet! They told me to return the defective unit. I was able to snag this on sale from BB for $250. I was going to return it, but I still like it. The fact that I can walk around with it on my shoulder makes me feel like a pimp! It can work wonders when you start playing Shots by Lil John on a bar patio, lol! Hopefully JBL issues a firmware update to resolve the crappy connect issue. I look forward to taking it to the beach later this summer. Oh yeah it’s water proof too. That’s a bonus!

I bought this speaker and mounted it in my UTV Polaris RZR for a weekend on the trails. It had plenty of power to play music over the motor noise. It held up well to the abuse on the trials.

Sounds great has a rich and deep tone sounds like a system on your shoulders.

I got it for my garage gym. I didn't know what to expect. It is nice and heavy not like other portable speakers. Pretty heavy and the sound is awesome!!
