I got this speaker for my husbands birthday and he hasn't stopped using it since, highly recommend to all my music lovers! The sound on the speaker is the best.

I have the extreme 3 and i have been waitng a while for this speaker to come out and i tell you what the extrme 4 has way more bass to it and it is really good overall the fetures are way better and the removable battery makes the speaker last forever when you get other batterys to because the past ones once the battery gose bad you can’t replace them but the extreme 4 you can they made a product that can last longer and thank you JBL!!! They are the best

This speaker packs a bigger punch than expected! Extremely clear with no distortion at any volume level. It gets loud, with exceptional balance between bass, miss, and highs. Definitely get the JBL app and use the equalizer- it helps find the correct sound balance for your preferences. Auracast is a cool function to connect to multiple JBL speakers, too! One thing to note - the equalizer defaults to a pre-setting (not custom) when using Auracast, so the sound is slightly different when using that feature with multiple JBL speakers.

I needed a new speaker for work to listen to music and this was the perfect choice. Pros ~Long batter life. I only have to charge this once every 3-4 days and it's in use for over 9 hours a day while at work 4 days a week. Charging is super quick as well. Only takes about 3 hours to fully charge. ~Super loud with multiple settings for different sound qualities. I have yet to turn this up over halfway to be able to hear it over the various saws/machines. ~The app is very helpful for seeing battery charge left and switching between the various modes Cons ~It is a little bulky and heavy but it's such a small gripe that it's barely worth mentioning. ~Price. Almost $400 is no small amount. If possible, wait for a sale. Overall, this was a great purchase and well worth the money. I would absolutely buy this again and recommend it. The only thing that would make this product better would have been waiting another month for it to be on sale like it currently is at the time of this review. Still, it's a great speaker with tremendous sound and great battery life.

I recently purchased a JBL speaker and I couldn’t be happier with it. The sound is crystal clear, with deep bass and rich tones that fill the room. I used these speakers for either my on to go workout speakers, or I used them on my friends boat when we’re out fishing. Either ones, they give me the best sounds I can buy on the market! Regardless of all the winds, I can still hear it loud and clearly.

I wanted to buy the JBL boombox but after my father buying it was kinda a pain to carry around and my speaker would just go as far as the backyard. The xtreme4 was a good middle from my flip 4 I carry around . The xtreme4 gets loud has really good bass I was really impressed. I live in an townhome made from concrete and my neighbors did tell me they can “hear n feel” the music . Not sure how clear or loud they can hear but it is loud I never really play it more than 50-60 percent volume. The battery does lasts awhile, played all night at a party from 80 percent. The music does get clear and louder when plugged in. The strap is a good addition but I do just one hand it a lot. I do have some issues with the speaker I can’t connect to any other speakers from past generations. I’ve tried with my flip4 clip3 my friends pulse or even my dads boombox3. If you leave the straps on the speaker they rattle and even make the music sound weird. The app isn’t really that great, takes awhile for updates. Overall this is a great speaker for small or medium homes, going to beach or pool it really has range and still portable. People always are surprised by sound and I recommend it all the time.

Really nice sound quality! Compared to the Flip 6, the bass is a lot more prominent. The biggest downside is its frequency range, where it doesn't extend down past 44hz where some of the really deep bass can hit. Otherwise, amazing for high-end sound quality with some really clear mids for vocals.

I recently bought a JBL speaker and I’m really impressed with its performance. The sound quality is amazing—crisp highs, deep bass, and great volume for its size. The battery life lasts much longer than I expected, and it charges quickly too. I also love how portable and sturdy it is, perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Bluetooth connection is fast and stable, and the overall design looks sleek and modern. Totally worth the price. Highly recommended!

Open box was a great buy. Product came with everything. Speaker wasn’t banged up or broken. Bass is substantial and is audible in a truck shop bay, even while working. I was looking for something I didn’t have to completely worry about ruining if oil or diesel got near it. Even after blasting at full volume for an 8hr work day, it didn’t die. I would say even at full price I’d say it’s worth it.

I looked at this a couple times. I have a charge 3 that I recently replaced the battery on for less than $20 so why spend almost $400 for a new one. But it went on sale, had a strap which I wanted and sounds good outside. I did have to turn it down on the little glass table when outside. Base was just too much and it was rattling. I’m happy with my purchase at $250 price mark.

I absolutely love this speaker, I bring it almost everywhere with me now for hangouts or parties. I even have the clip 5 and I’ll pair them up to fill any space. It’s not only a cool party trick for a ton of people but it also fills the environment so well. The bass is not as deep as I expected but it echoes and fills the room very well, complimented by the clip 5 speakers, (or any other JBL speaker with auracast) you have your very own portable sound system. The battery life is so long I have used it for 3-4 days in a row without charging it once. Mind you that’s about 4-8 hours of daily use. I love that it’s waterproof and dustproof cause you could literally place it anywhere and if it’s dirty, you just wash it clean with some water for a couple seconds and you’re all good. I have personally been obsessed with JBLs since I’ve gotten this speaker. Sometimes the connectivity range falls apart behind walls but in an open space you get quite the distance with your phone from the speaker itself.

use this all the time, has a great sound especially when its higher in volume which I love.
