Excellent sound quality and great volume capabilities. Expensive(I purchased a pair) but watch for sale prices at Best Buy...I purchased on Black Friday for $100.00 off per speaker.

Several years ago I started my wireless speaker journey with the Jawbone jam box, which I loved. Now I have moved on to the JBL xtreme and it has surpassed my expectation as to what a wireless Bluetooth speaker should sound like. I love this item so much that have three at home:)

This bluetooth speaker has a lot of sound for a small speaker. It's bigger than a Beats Pill but the sound is louder and fuller. It also has two imports to charge a phone. Nice product.

This speaker is loud, battery last long and it can charge phones! Also you can sync with other JBL compatible speakers to play music on both at the same time

This speaker is very powerful. That is exactly what I need to pump out the music in the warehouse where I work. It has a great sound. The only con is the weight and bulkiness, but the sound sure makes up for it. The shoulder strap is a plus for portability. Yes it is on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for.

We bought this JBL to replace our BOSE dock. We compared and listened to products at our local Best Buy before purchasing. The sound quality and loudness out played all other similar products. It fills our rooms with quality sound. The battery life is about 2 weeks of casual music use. We do have to be careful as not to grip or move the speaker by the ends as the instructions say not to. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase.

If youre looking for a speaker with great power great sound great bass and great connectivity options and you have the money for it then this speaker fits your needs for the price that I got mine for which was around 180 at the time versus 300 I just had to get it and after 2 months or so of use I have to say Im glad I bought this I have a jbl pulse 4 too and when I connect both they sound great. The only problem I ever had with this speaker in all honesty is that when I charge the speaker the white lights that are supppsed to show you when the speaker is charging dont indicate that the speaker is fully charged when I leave it charging for its desired time and it never shows that the charge has completed it just stays flashing but when I unplug it the lights on the speaker indicate that it has been fully charged. May have been just my speaker I didnt give it too much attention. Overall, get this product if you have the money you wont regret buying it.

JBL is always good, this JBL extreme is really nice for a home party. The bass is good in high volume. The finish is really good, however haven't tried spill water on it to check how it works, but anyway lets really in the spec. Small issue I've faced was when two phone are connect with, some time my wife phone is connect but not playing nothing when I try to play the music got some bad connection then I need to reconnect the speaker and it works ok.

This speaker compares or exceeds other non-portable speakers of the same power (Wattage) in overall quality. It's user-friendly and packs substantial bass and volume.

excellent sound! easy to use sound quality has been commented on by many of our friends. wireless, has charger port, charges my phone while playing, and plays while plugged in.

Sounds great. Nice bass. Battery life seems good. Only possible concern I have is exposed speakers in the ends if it gets dropped. But that’s what warranty is for.

The speaker is of good quality, has great sound and easy to connect to various systems. Battery lasts long.

This is my second JBL Bluetooth Speaker. This thing is great! Great sound in a compact and rugged package. Can't wait to use it on my vacation at the beach this summer.

This powerpack fills my backyard pool area with music effortlessly. Sounds very good and quality of bass reproduction keeps amazing me. Battery life seems to excellent as well.

I have trusted JBL now for some time when I purchased this speaker. It sounded great. Really loud and can fill a room. I did not give it 5 stars just because it has too much bass and it compensates for the clarity of treble...but the bass also makes it what it is. You will not regret this product.

I have a JBL Charge 2+ and was surprised by how loud it is along with how much bass it has compared to the competition at the time. I was in the market for something better and was debating between getting the JBL Xtreme or a JBL Charge 3. I bought the JBL Xtreme first hoping that it would be twice as better as the JBL Charge 2+ since it is about double the price. In terms of sound quality, it is definitely louder but not double the price louder and the bass does go lower but not that much lower compared to the JBL Charge 2+. I also didn't like that you have to bring a proprietary charger in order to charge it. I guess since it is a bigger speaker, it would need different means of charging but they could've done something different like using USB Type C and I am pretty sure there are bigger battery packs out there that still charge via USB. All in all, I am somewhat impressed but for the price I think it is probably better to get a Charge 3 or even two since you could link them up together to play the same source.

This thing has amazing sound, rich, stunning bass and enough battery to last the whole day. It would be nice if the speaker was a little louder: for example: When I run any of my boats I can't really hear it, of course the motors are a little loud, but for the price you would think it would have a little more volume. I really wished it was waterproof, however, it's only 'splash-proof'. I was brave enough to take this speaker on a tube float on the Guadalupe river without any problems, the speaker never submerged, it definitely got wet and did not hurt anything. Another nice feature is that this speaker has 2 USB ports that can be used for charging phones, etc which comes in really handy.

This one is more powerful, better sounding and will play up to 14 hours. And it is waterproof as well. It is the music system for my recumbent trike and I love it.

Let me start by saying I am an audiophile and have a some very high end audio equipment. I knew this little guy couldn't compete but I'm honestly quite surprised by how close it gets. We wanted a portable speaker that we could use anywhere around the house, by our pool or anywhere outside really. This is very easy to setup and connect to, for it's size, it has a great bass response and plenty of volume with practically no distortion. So far, the batter has held up quite well as we have yet to run it dead on a single use. I'm quite pleased with our purchase and really could not have expected more for the size and price.

This speaker gets loud and has excellent battery life. It is a little bit on the heavy side for a portable speaker but it does come with a strap to make carrying it easier.
