We got this so my son could share his music with friends in a large room. It does that job nicely, and it's small enough to be stored in a locker. The usb charging ports are a useful bonusl.

My son wanted a bluetooth speaker and we chose this after much research. It is amazing! Tons of bass, but not overwhelming. Crisp clear highs and clean midrange. My son is a classical and jazz trombonist and the speaker does justice to that genre of music as well as pop, electronica, etc. We were so impressed we immediately bought a second one for us.

I decided to try this speaker and I was glad I did, GREAT SOUND. For me,I wanted something that had a little more bass to it than a smaller portable speaker. I had the Bose Sound Link Mini and it sounded good, but just wasn't doing it for me. So I went with this JBL Extreme and I am extremely satisfied with the sound of this speaker. Definetely would recommend to anyone who wants great sound from a portable speaker.

Absolutely love this Bluetooth speaker. Had one and bought 2 as gifts. Even at full price it's width every penny but on the sale can't be beat! You will love this too!

Great sound (good bass)....holds charge a long time...easy to take anywhere

I was in the store for an hour listening to all the different "waterproof" Bluetooth wireless speakers before I decided on the JBL Xtreme speaker. The sound is amazing and lives up to it's name. I love streaming Pandora and YouTube through this speaker. The battery life lives up to it's expectations. I bought the smaller JBL to sync with this one thinking it wouldn't be enough sound, well it is. The JBL is plenty of sound lol.

After my Jawbone XL finally cracked on me I broke down and bought this JBL... so far I haven't regretted it! It has some solid sound and bass for the size of speaker. It feels heavy and like it's a quality build. I do love the fact that it's sealed *and can take splashes! I'll also be testing it on the beach soon. The strap is also a nice touch and super strong seat belt material! So far it's a two thumbs up!

May seem a little on the pricey side for a Bluetooth speaker, but well worth the investment. Deep sound out of such a small speaker.
