My experience with this product was very similar to what I read prior to purchase. I was initially going to buy a Beats Pill, which we already own one in our household, but wanted more sound. Mission accomplished! This speaker will not disappoint in sound clarity, sound quality, bass, mid-range. Download an EQ app for maximum benefit. There is a 1-2 second delay when initially playing music from iPod, but no bid deal.

After reviewing several speakers in it's size, I decided that the JBL Extreme was the one for me. The size makes it easy to transport and the sound is great. On the technical side one could argue the tweeters but none the less it is a great speaker. Remember you can always ajust the little things with an equalizer app. or internal eq. Just saying but you more than likely won't need it. Enjoy it, I'am.

this thing is awesome! i was having trouble picking between two charge 3's or one extreme. i went ahead with one extreme and its plenty awesome/glad i got it! its super loud--use it mostly for my home gym--but take it with me to outings like hikes/park/beach. it's not waterproof like the charge 3 but it's splash proof (not a deal breaker). sound is clear and bass is top notch. super happy with the purchase!

This is a great Bluetooth speaker! It is very loud and has a crisp, clear sound. Excellent bass too! One thing I disliked was you can't control much with the app unless you have two. I tried the UE Megaboom before this and although I am still 100% for the Xtreme, you could turn the UE on and off with the app and adjust volume. Extreme is an excellent choice and would definitely recommend to a friend

My son absolutely loves this speaker. It was an upgrade from the smaller size. His friend has the same one and they sync them together for surround sound.

I owned a JBL Charge and decided to get the JBL Extreme. Bigger speaker with much better bass. Sound are high quality crisp and clear, no distortion like other speakers. I am extremely pleased with JBL Bluetooth speaker. Nice strap to carry the Extreme around. I will use in outdoor and garage. Great discount from Best Buy and Store Pick-up is quick and easy.

Connects with other JBL speakers easily. Create an instant stereo. Great for our patio, especially with our other JBL speaker. Glad we bought it. The sound is fantastic.

This bluetooth speaker is by far the best given it is a portable speaker. It is a tad large but the sound definitely matches and is unbelievably great. Now I have only had the speaker since Dec so time will tell if it is durable and lasts but so far so good. I recommend if you are thinking about it go to your local Best Buy store and take a listen. I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed.
