I was first going to get the jbl charge 3,but when i saw the extreme on sale i had to get it. pairs well and the sound of this speaker is mind blowing.

I've been enjoying the 1st generation JBL Charge for a few years now, but once my brother bought the JBL Xtreme I knew I would have to get one. The sound is better than anything I've heard in this price range. When the speaker was discounted on Black Friday, I couldn't resist.

After reviewing so many portable speakers, here I am. This is simply the only speaker you need for small to mid size living room. The bass is awesome.

I like this speaker. I bought it because we travel sometimes and I am not a fan of headphones or earbuds and such. The sound quality is much better than I expected and I am very picky... I own a 2014 Dodge Durango Citadel with a "Premium" sound system (Alpine 9 speaker system) and that setup dose not impress me (for the price)... this little speaker is pleasant and useful... not going to rock the house but for listening to music at moderate volumes in your bedroom, bathroom, patio, etc. it is a nice little speaker.

The JBL Extreme was first and foremost worth the money that I spent. Secondly it out performs the Beats Pill by at least 30% in clarity and functionality. The Extreme is splash proof, can act as a power bank for your cell phone and has an extremely long battery life. It is pretty close to its advertised 15 hour life span. JBL makes it easy to enjoy music anywhere especially with this speaker.

Was very skeptical about its capability but was amazed at the bass and clarity. Additional feature that’s convenient, it charges USB devices, nice!!!

Purchased this speaker primarily for work use. I work in a automotive assembly plant and the music is just loud enough to hear over the factory noise. But the jbl extreme shines more for use at home. The sound is a lot better when you have walls for acoustics. Another cool feature is if you have another jbl extreme or jbl charge 3 you can link the speakers together and have surround sound.

I took a fair amount of time in my research for this purchase. First I was thinking boom box. Then I decided to find something that I can use my iPhone with. Like Bluetooth. Went to Best Buy and looked at least 3 other speakers. By far this one sounded the best. I was so pleased with it that I went out next day and bought my Son one too. He loved it!

I absolutely love it, great sound, easy to use, and the battery life is pretty good.

Excellent speaker, sound quality is superb, very portable and has solid bass.

Picked up this unit on Black Friday 2017. Got a pretty good deal I think...unit is exactly what I said; a big bang for itst buck. If you’re a bass-junkie, then this on the go speaker is right for you.... You can YouTube videos on the speaker as well to learn a few things.

I happened to see this speaker and was on sale at Best Buy so I decided to make purchase, and I am so glad I did! This speaker has excellent sound!

Sounds great! Could be a little louder when using in my SxS and won't fit in a cup holder, but I still use the heck out of it and it sounds great!

Great sound quality. A bit heavy. Bass is great as well as ovrrall performance. I thought it said waterproof, but afraid to put on sink while showering.

Work has never been more fun since we get to listen to music like it was meant to sound. It's like a party at work!

Great for the beach or backyard cookouts! By the pool. We have a 1968 GTO with the original AM radio, the JBL Xtreme works great with no modifications to the car.

This was loud and good for the mobility. The water proof is great.

I wanted a portable speaker for when we go to the lake and other outdoor activities. This speaker surpassed my expectations and sounds excellent.

I was hesitant to buying it. The one showing at the store wasn't all that great, but I still got it for black friday.. It turned out very good.
