Great Sound from a Relatively Small Package

Very cool when you can pair it with another JBL speaker and get stereo sound. Used it camping and the stereo sound around the campfire was a hit. I question the battery life claim. Didn't get anywhere close to the advertised run time.

Great Speaker!!

Gave 4 stars because did not use micro USB for charging , no equalization settings available ,battery life not quite what was expected and design not very portable (too large). Other than issues listed, hands down best sound inclass. Sound makes up for all shortcomings, great product! Great alternative from small wired traditional stereo setup. If you will keep this unit mostly in one place most of the time, you have a winner. The EU megaboom has better portability and design, but jbl crushes it with sound quality.

Great sound and long battery life.

I tested it in my vintage car to see if it could be heard over the motor, wind and road noise. It worked great and being self contained no worries about rigging a power source in the car's six volt electrical system. I'm going to buy a second one for use in the car and in my camper.
