Was interested in purchasing a portable wireless Bluetooth speaker under $300, so researched this & similar products. I was impressed with the power of a friend's Bose Soundlink 3, but was hoping spend less if possible. Found many favorable reviews of the rich room filling sound produced by the JBL xtreme over the Bose soundlink 3, as well as being splashproof & can charge two USB devices via ports on the back. The JBL xtreme doesn't weigh in light (@ 5lbs), nor does it's shape & size make it particularly easy to travel with, but comes with a heavy duty detachable strap, & is compact enough to still fit in most backpacks. While it's log shaped footprint & weight might be viewed as cons in comparison to similar products, it's sound quality, battery life, & powerful volume make it a serious heavyweight!! Have only maxed out the volume once as a test (with completely lossless quality) & am more than happy with its room filling sound when it's only turned halfway up. Bluetooth pairing with an iPhone was easy, & has great range (lossless over 20' & through hotel room walls), though once it's paired with one device, it can be finicky about pairing with others. A standard 2.5mm audio cable port has helped in the instances when it didn't want to pair with my girlfriend's iPhone. I'm 100% happy with this product; my gf joked I was going to kiss it before her on NYE... I didn't, but can't say that I didn't keep my eyes open in the moment, to cast a loving glance over her shoulder in its direction.

This wireless speaker is use for someone who don't want to buy a sound system at home. Just buy this speaker and maybe you can have your sound system instanly.

I bought this expecting a decent sound and quality. I was blown away with how good this speaker sounded in various situations. Sure, it's not a full surround sound system, but for the size and price this is an A+ product. Plus being able to sync 2+ speakers at once just adds to the already amazing sound. 10/10 would buy again

I wasn't sure if I'd like this or not. Once I got it paired (which was super simple) and heard it for the first time, I was very impressed. I listen to it every day and the huge battery lasts FOREVER! I haven't had to use the feature yet but it also has 2 usb charging ports on the back to charge your phone or tablet. I'm eager to find another one at some point to use the JBL connect feature to play 2 at one time.
