HOWEVER, the batter life after that has greatly declined and after an hour or so, I have to plug it in. This truly defeats the purpose of the speaker altogether, and truly am disappointed now that this is mostly a wired speaker.

She loves it and sets it up all over the house as she does her chores. I only have to tell her to turn it down several times at night :) Lol Bluetooth range is decent if you can ever get it to pair

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1) The location of the speaker in the room can optimize acoustics. 2) Using streaming sources that offer maximum quality settings (higher bit rate) maximizes speaker clarity, definition and base. 3) Charging other devices will be handy. 4) Battery might get 10 plus hours on relatively low volume, but at constant max volume (or close to it) your going to get significantly less battery life. I got about 4 or 5 +/- at high volume. Overall, you're going to like it.

Within an hour of unplugging it, it's completely drained of power. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until a couple months after purchase when we took it on a road trip with us. It's a good sounding speaker, but not good for anything but listening at home or near a power outlet
