I am usually a Bose fan but just thought to give a try with this and purchased on Black Friday deal. I have used it for couple of days and all I can say it just makes noise and no balance in audio output...Its too loud....Finally switched back to Bose....If you are looking for a quality Bluetooth speaker this is not for you.

Thought it would be louder, disconnects on its own often. Not totally satisfied

Gave this one a try but it isn't what I expected. For 300$ the Bose or beats sound way better.

For the price its should be louder. The connect is a cool feature though.

Overall good speaker for open atmosphere events and get together but does lack bass

should be louder for price returned it good strap and design

Title said it all. I've used this speaker (two of them) sporadically for a year, sometimes charged my phone off its USB ports. But after a year, it stopped charging. I tried different charger but it didn't work. It must be a battery failure. I've found out online this is a common problem.

It's a good product but there are much better ones in the market now

Speaker did not go loud enough. We used it for a house party.

I purchased this as a gift to myself as I love music and need it in my life. I listen to jazz, funk, classical, rock and blues. If you can feel it, then take a serious look at JBL Xtreme. I was debating between the JBL and the Bose soundlink but the JBL won out because it has a really nice sound, has a strap, has exceptional battery life and has a mic. Bose has a nice sound, but no strap, no mic and a battery life that isn't as long. Another key feature is the plug. Bose has a proprietary one, which means if you lose it, you will be paying Bose for it. Overall, this is a great device that sounds great, and performs very very well.

I like the sound but the one thing i dont like the battery is so fast to run out.it says in the advertisement that the battery will last like 8 to 10 hours but is not.im upset!

This speaker is great. Has really good bass. Fills up larges rooms even backyard bbq. Bass doesn't distort but the highs kinda do. I just return my pill xl. I give the jbl a shot. There two things i didnt like. One it not really portable. I wish theh would of made a handle or something. I took it on a bike ride and it wasnt loud as my pill xl. It just wasnt for me. Overall great speaker. Sounds alot better then any speaker out there rn even the Xl.

Mine worked for 2 months before the bass radiator started to rattle and sound distorted on any volume setting more than half. It took a month dealing with Harmon/JBL to get me a new one. I hope this one lasts because i'm worried i may have a future $300 paper weight on my hands after the warranty runs out. My JBL Charge 3 has worked flawlessly for almost 2 years now, i was expecting the same quality from the extreme.

The product looks nice but quality in sound is low, for the price you're paying you would expect the item to be loud. Returned it and got a $100 speaker tailgate ION, loud for sure.

I bought this one to compare it the the second version and they both stink, my wonderboom is surprisingly similar at a much cheaper price.

At about a year with light use this device stopped working. I contacted JBL for months and they did nothing to help. Instead they advised me to replace the battery.. that cost me an additional 50 dollars and it did nothing to repair the device. Buy a speaker from a different manufacturer, it'll last longer.
