Battery problems a week after purchasing. Bluetooth works most of the time but sometimes has trouble. Will be returning soon.

After 2 hours it would shut off and really has a battery life of about 5 hours. Did not drown out warehouse noise.

Remember back in the day we used to buy boom boxes with a cassette tape player? There were so many choices of those. Sometimes you can still find cheesy large ones in stores today with new bells and whistles. Who needs that when you have a smart phone with Bluetooth and this? I also have a JBL charge 2. I still love that little BT speaker. But when I heard this one, I had to have it. This thing sounds awesome and it's very portable. This BT speaker is perfect for the beach, lake and pool side. I've listened to everything from county, hip hop, to jazz on this speaker and everything is reproduced perfectly with the low bass, mids and highs. After all, its a JBL. People are always surprised with this and are amazed at the sound level and clarity.

The ultimate creation of JBL in portable loudspeakers, is pure hi fi response digital. Outstanding response, enough power bi amplification, crispy highs and booming lows. Superior quality sound compared against the UE megaboom. My little inconvenient is the zipper on the back panel. Highly recommended to the demanding customers if it is a JBL lover.

The speaker sounds like it's going to blow after only having it for 2 months

After my pill xl got recalled, I was lost with speakers. However I tried this one out and it sounds so much better and the base is just as good if not better. Fantastic sound quality. Def worth every penny.

I was very happy in the beginning used the heck out of it, but in the first thirty days it would turn off and would only power on if plugged in. Retuned it !

This Was a replacement for a Harmon Karden - that one lasted 2 years - this one lasted 4 months . Shouldn’t have cheaped out on this JBL evidently . Bose - here I come - lesson learned . 400.00 wasted on the JBL and HK .

Whats Best- 1) Best Sound quality in its segment 2) No compromise in audio quality even at lowest and highest volume levels 3) Louder than all its available rivals 4) Great battery life 4) Stylish product design What to watch for as I replaced 2 units before getting the perfect piece- 1) Some units might have a Hissing background sound(white sound), while some are comparatively silent 2) Some units might have a charging problem as the charging indicators might behave incorrectly Still i love the Speakers as the sound quality is better than all the other available rival brands. At first charge it never went past half capacity when playing music only gave me 3 hours time i believe i got a lemon out the box returned next day

You can get the nyne bass speaker for $90 and it blows this jbl out of the water. I returned mine as soon as i heard it

I just bought a second jbl xtreme black color through online shopping. It produce amazing sound, great for outdoors! Its loud! After i downloaded JBL connect app, it received software update and installed it wirelessly via bluetooth. It was an amazing experience for a speaker to receive an update! But i was disappointed there is no aux cable included. Other than that the speaker is loud!

Wow, JBL has done a fantastic job with this bluetooth speaker...its amazing and by far better in sound than any Bose speakers I have owned. Love it!!!

Out of the box, I am impressed by the amount of bass that this little thing produces. It is crystal clear too. I had my phone set on loudness for the EQ setting for my other Bluetooth speakers I have (Bose) and I needed to set it to something way more flat so that the bass isn't too much with this JBL. However, you can always turn the bass down if you have too much, but you can never get more if the speaker isn't capable. Just bought it so will be interested to see what the battery life is like. The only thing I see so far is that the woofers on the ends of the unit are relatively unprotected so throwing it in a backpack or something with a bunch of other stuff might cause some damage. Could probably use some screen covers for the ends or a protective case to put it in like my wifes JBL Charge unit has. I love JBL products, and this one is no exception. Great product so far!

The Battery only lasted about 3 months. And I couldn’t find my receipt to have it replaced!

Whenever I turn this speaker on loud it Shuts off. Only Works when plugged up

This is an amazing speaker with incredible sound. The bass is deep and clear and the sound is able to fill an entire room. It is not just loud (and believe me, this speaker is loud) it also delivers crystal clear highs so that you can hear vocals very clearly. The battery also lasts very long and charges up very quickly. The build quality is also top notch.

when connect with bluetooth you only get 3 or 4 hrs battery lifeon speaker for almost $200 very poor..

This speaker was a gift for someone, but I had no idea how clear the sound quality was going to be! I was told by store staff that JBL was a highly recognized company for creating top of the line speakers, and this gift did not disappoint. I highly recommend this to all people who love bumpin' music around the house!
