I had Sony SRS X3, amazon, Harman, and one other portable speakers in the past. now i owned this JBL extreme. out of all these 5, I love how JBL sound quality, Bluetooth connectivity, charging very much. compared to all other I had this is little bigger but still acceptable.

This is a great speaker for larger group of friends. Take it to the beach, to the park, to a bonfire. It performs nice in open areas. Only problem with it and the only reason I returned mine was: the size. It's not that portable when it comes to hicking, walking around or moving it a lot throughout the day. Liked it, but I went back to JBL charge 3. It's a great speaker for backpacks, with awesome kick in bass and great volume. Way better than beats pill+.

Took it on vacation. Spent time listening to music on a noisy rooftop overlooking the city and the power was mind-boggling. Bass is powerful even outdoors. At max volume bass can get muddy on bass-heavy tracks but at normal medium volume the sound is crisp and clear.?

Sound is awesome works well with galaxy s4. Not the tablet (maybe it's me) nice bass response at descent level can hit if put in a corner. Isn't easy to hide but you didn't buy it to hide.

Bought a set of these for a pool party. These speakers did not quit after 4-5 hours of continuous music playing. They sound great. Only problem with the speakers is that the speakers started skipping when only 10-15 ft away from BT source device. Had to place them within 10 ft from each other. Would of been awesome if I could have them on opposite ends of the pool.

I love my JBL Xtreme! The sound is absolutely incredible and the battery life is great.... and I am able to get both a few hours of playing time and a fully charged phone at once. Love it

I purchased the JBL - Xtreme Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black because it had the best overall sound quality and bass note. The other one's were definitely inferior in all other areas.

Overall a fantastic purchase. Money well spent. This speaker will last all day and then some. The quality is unmatched by any other speaker in it's class. Definitely worth the money!

(+) Got this item from BB a few months ago...less than 12 months for sure. GREAT sound, beats other bluetooth speakers hands down IMHO...received complements from other people regarding how they like the way it sounds. (-) It is expensive and the battery in my unit last only 30 mins even after it has been fully charged!!! I would give it 5 stars except for the battery issue.

Really love this speaker! As soon as I heard it play outdoors, I sold my ancient Bose Sound Link 3 and kept this one! You will be VERY satisfied with this purchase!

This speaker is loud with enough bass. I have used this for 2-3 family picnic and it performs great. And yes the battery lasts almost all day with music playing non-stop.

Owned multiple speakers this is by far the best excellent sound quality and bass would like to buy another to sync both together

This little speaker is awesome with it's big sound! It's great with any genre of music and I really like it's low end sound.

This speaker has great sound. And because you can link it to a second one, it covers our wrap around back yard great!

The sound quality is very quality. Specially outdoors. Bass is just rockin. Indoors I turn off the bass mode otherwise the boom boom bass can give you a head ache. I bought these in 2018. After 2 years now it just keeps shutting down every half an hour. It seems to think there is no incoming signal even when music is playing and then shut down. This happens even when connected to the charger. I was expecting this to last many more years for the price I paid for it.

this speaker is awesome. sounds great! even at max volume. Bass sounds great too. but it! you won't regret it
