Water resistant, great battery life, and feels premium. The best part is the connect+ feature which let's you connect up to 100 other jbl speakers! The sound is amazing and has pretty good bass

All sound ranges are really good. In fact, I also purchased a Bose Soundlink Plus to compare against and after a week I returned the Bose as the sound quality was not as good, particularly the bass. I am not a real fan of the plug-ins underneath as they are not easy to access. It keeps an adequate charge of about 10 hours with medium to medium high volume.

Really good sepakers with an amazing sound and bass

I was in need to replace my Bose speaker, so I did my homework & purchased the JBL Xtreme. Great sound, awesome base & phenomenal 15 hour battery life. I love it. Just what I was looking for.

I was looking for a portable speaker for my wife to use as back up for a Zumba class she taught. This was perfect. It has a 3.5 input, usb out for charging, is splashproof, battery lasts all day, and the sound output was very loud with a good amount of bass. I see reviews about distortions when on the louder end of the volume control but I have not experienced it as much. I've noticed its the source of the music, high compression or non high quality sources seems to cause it. Garbage in garbage out.

Clear sound, great bass and volume perfect. Waterproof and easy charging is a plus. Size is just right not to large or small. Very satisfied with overall performance

This is a great portable speaker. Its easy to carry it has a stripe so it can be carry with ease. It gets very load and it has great base. Worth every penny.

Purchased the JBL Extreme speaker for travel and beach. This portable bluetooth speaker sounds great and works with both my phone and iPad. It is perfect for use at the beach or pool.

Very impressed with the large sound that comes out of this device, The Subwoof sound is equally amazing. I can usually get a good day, day in a half between charges.

Even though it's a little on the heavy side, comes with a carrying strap. Took it to a swimming hole and people were impressed with the sound and bass of my speaker. Might get another two pair them haha

This is a great little speaker. I wanted something that I could use on the tennis court when I play with a friend (recreation-ally) so we could both hear the music at opposite ends of the court. This fit that bill. When you are that far away from the speaker, there was no discernible sound degradation. We could hear the music well enough, make out the lyrics and yet still yell/talk to each other across the court. While at a volume where we could hear the music well enough, yet still talk/yell to each other across the court, there were still a few clicks to go on the volume scale. Only drawback is the speaker is HEAVY. Probably around 5 pounds. Doesn't sound like much, but makes your bag heavy and loppy.

Love this portable unit, awesome sound. Great clarity and good booming base. Haven’t had a chance to use it outdoors yet too dang cold. Hope it sounds just as good outdoors as it does indoors.

I love the portability of this thing. The audio is great with deep bass and long battery life. I love all the connection options, and I tempted to get a second one to use the multi connect tools in the app.

Although I didn't need a Bluetooth speaker, this particular unit was Best Buy's Deal of the Day for $150 and after looking at the reviews, I decided to take the plunge. The reviews are definitely spot on as far as the bass in this unit along with its weight - it's like a rock! I charged it up for about 12 hours before turning it on for the first time and given that I'm somewhat a techie myself, I didn't really bother reading the manual as the buttons and the design is self-explanatory. All I have to say is that the pairing process is simple, the sound is great, and if you can get this lower than $200, then it's a no-brainer!
